SATENA Airlines took delivery of the first Twin Otter DHC-6 Series 400 aircraft on Oct. 31. This aircraft is the first of a fleet of eight destined to improve connectivity in the most remote areas of the country. DHC is thrilled to support @AerolineaSatena in their mission to bring more connections throughout Colombia. 👏 A big thank you to the teams at @dehavillandAIR for making this possible!

We're celebrating 20 years of the Art Smith Aero Centre! 🎉 We can't believe how far aviation training #HereAtSAIT has come. From humble beginnings with an initial cohort of eight students in 1928 to leading the way in drone technology applications, we're ready to keep climbing to new heights. ✈ “The need for aviation professionals has tripled in the last 20 years and I don’t see a slowdown any time soon,” says Lynda Holden, Dean, School of Transportation, SAIT. “I used to see workforce demand ebb and flow and I don’t see that anymore. Instead, I’m seeing a continual increase in demand for aviation and aerospace talent.” Find out what makes the Art Smith Aero Centre soar! https://bit.ly/3A9mPws #AviationEducation #AviationTech #AlbertaAviation

The annual migration begins! ✈️ Ahead of our science season in Antarctica, the BAS aircraft have started their long journey across the world. The BAS red Dash 7 and Twin Otter aircraft set off from Canada, (where they are maintained and do some summer science work) flying all the way down North and South America. The journey to Punta Arenas on the tip of Chile takes around 10 days, before they make the final hop over the Southern Ocean to Rothera Research Station! 🎥 Mark Thompson and Alex Taylor #aviation #climatescience

What an incredible flight for avantiair GmbH&Co.KG and the Dash 8! We have always been proud of our best-in-class turboprop aircraft, but it’s incredible to see it break an avantiair GmbH&Co.KG record, Congratulations!
We’ve just completed the longest Dash flight in AvantiAir history from Toulouse to Skellefteå—covering an impressive 1520NM! Not only is this our longest, but it's also the second-longest Dash flight worldwide. ✈️ Check out the view from dark to bright! 🌅 #AviationMilestone #DashAircraft #FromDarkToBright #AvantiAir
