At the heart of our event lies the transformation of eight of our clients. Each will receive a complete style makeover, including hair and makeup, and model a stunning outfit from a local boutique. The evening is not just about physical transformations however - each of our client models will share how Dress for Success programs have positively impacted their lives by helping them enter, re-enter, or transition within the workforce, achieve financial independence, and better support their families. All outfits showcased during the event will be auctioned off, providing a unique opportunity for guests to own a piece of this remarkable transformation journey. Boutiques will accommodate the auction winners' preferred sizes. In addition, the event will feature real-time makeovers of three community members - with hair, makeup, and outfits provided by the Dress for Success clothing boutique! A silent auction filled with amazing items will further add to the excitement of the evening. The event will be set in a cocktail party style, with canapes, self-serve charcuterie tables and other delectable snacks and treats for our guests. Your ticket includes food and one welcome beverage of choice, with additional beer, wine, and an event signature mocktail available for purchase throughout the evening. New for 2024: We have a limited number of VIP tickets for an elevated event experience. You will be treated to perks, enhanced personal service, and luxurious swag that will make the evening even more memorable!

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and implement Dress for Success client programs. You will have the opportunity to influence and coordinate the offering of career services, workshops and skills development sessions all for the sole purpose of supporting women as they forge a better future for themselves, their families and their communities. This is an entry-level position with room to grow with the organization.

Our purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty. Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to reach their employment and financial goals. We provide each client with professional attire to secure employment, but we are about much more than simply a new outfit. Besides physically equipping the client with apparel and accessories, our programs furnish her with the confidence and skills that will help her to thrive in work and in life. Watch Her Soar is an important fundraiser for us, allowing us to deliver our programs and services to women in our community all year long. Are you ready for a complete transformation?  Three deserving women will receive full makeovers at our upcoming Watch Her Soar fashion show fundraiser! If you’re ready to embrace a new look and inspire others with your story, we want to hear from you! Requirements: 💃🏻Openness to Change: The selected model must be willing to undergo a complete transformation, including a new haircut, makeup, and clothing. 💃🏻Application Essay: Submit your photo along with a written submission of 500 words or less explaining why you want and deserve this makeover. Share your story and tell us how this opportunity could impact your life! 💃🏻Availability: Must be available for two consultations prior to the event – one for wardrobe and one for hair. Must be available for the Watch Her Soar fundraiser, Saturday Oct 19, 2024 where you will be presented to attendees before and after the makeover. 💃🏻Consent for Publicity: Must agree to have your photos taken and used for social media and promotional purposes for Dress for Success. IT'S BACK! 💃🏻 Last year's inaugural Watch Her Soar Gala Fundraiser was such a success, we're thrilled to announce it's coming back on October 19th, once again Powered by ATB Wealth! We'll be at the Metro Hub, with amazing VIP and regular ticket options. Silent Auction, Fashion Show, Live Makeovers, Drinks, Appies, and more -  it's definitely a can't miss event! 100% of proceeds from this evening will go to Dress for Success, to help us support the women in our community who move through our programs. The company name really says it all!! Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving Company - Kelowna has stepped up to the plate twice to help our team get some big jobs done! First they helped us move into our new space, and most recently they helped us move a huge amount of clothing to be repurposed, and added a donation on top of offering their services 100% free of charge! In addition to being incredibly generous, they are also efficient, kind, professional, and wonderful to deal with from beginning to end. We couldn’t tackle these jobs without support from teams like Two Small Men With Big Hearts, and we are so grateful.
