About us
Entrust Disability Services is an Edmonton-based social care agency. Since 1997, Entrust has provided personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioural issues through long-term supportive living spaces. Entrust was created through the combined effort of caregivers and families who wanted to provide a stable home environment for individuals with disabilities. Entrust was founded on the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live full and independent lives. We provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities while ensuring their ability to maintain family and community participation. ‘Finding meaning and belonging, not loneliness and isolation’ We honour the rights of those in our care. We foster an environment that is safe, comfortable, and stable, while encouraging clients to thrive and achieve their goals. We work to provide loving, compassionate, and effective care to youth and adults with developmental and physical disabilities.

Welcome to the team: We are excited to introduce Bruce (Monty) Nelson, our new Scheduling Manager! ✨ With over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Monty brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in management, training employees and improving operational processes. He spent a lot of time in accounting and finance. Before joining Entrust, he was the Finance Director for Active Care Youth and Adult Services in Kamloops, B.C. Monty received numerous awards during his career, including the Associate of the Year Award from Petro-Canada, Silver Awards Top 15 Restaurants in Canada, and A&W Gold Award Top 3 Restaurants in Canada. 💡 What are you looking forward to in your new role at Entrust? "I have a large learning curve for starters because the systems are new to me. I work with some incredibly wonderful people at Scheduling. They’re so helpful and so willing to get everything done. I want to make sure that there is fairness in our scheduling and that we are tracking our overtime accurately and it matches what we’re budgeted for.
