Exciting EV driver experience news out of California. Assembly Bill (AB) 2697 has passed the state legislature and now heads to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s desk. This legislation will advance roaming between charging companies to simplify EV drivers' charging experience and help drivers locate and use stations. “Roaming is good for the driver because it empowers them to use their preferred mobile app to find a charging station and pay for charging,” said Cory Bullis, Public Affairs Director at FLO. “And what is good for the consumer is good for the industry.” FLO was proud to support 2697 and thanks Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin for her tireless leadership on EV charging issues. https://lnkd.in/gnV2-pCQ

It’s the final day of Electric Mobility Canada's EVVE conference! I learned so much here in Halifax, including the importance of inclusion in our design of chargers and sites for better equity and accessibility, which FLO has made a priority for the new FLO Ultra, and insights on all the research projects accomplished by Canadian organizations and companies. I hope you've been able to follow the action on Instagram, as well! Before we wrap up, don’t miss FLO's Frédérique Bouchard, Co-Chair of EMC’s Government Relations Working Group, speaking in a session on Federal Leadership. I’ve had a blast sharing these updates, and we’d love to hear your thoughts—let us know in the comments!
