We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our second cohort of Service Recovery training held on August 19-20. Seven dedicated participants have now gained valuable skills in handling customer complaints, enhancing guest experiences, and delivering exceptional customer service.    Our Service Recovery training incorporates both classroom theory and role-play exercises so participants can practice what they have learned.    We commend their commitment to professional development and look forward to seeing them apply these skills in their careers. On August 24-25, HTA 75 joined with UNITE HERE Local 75 at the Mabuhay Philippines Festival at Nathan Phillips Square. We had the opportunity to engage with the community and promote our training programs. It was rewarding to connect with so many individuals and foster growth within the hospitality industry. Last week, we hosted our inaugural Summer Potluck event, a day dedicated to team building through sports and shared meals. This event underscored the importance of community and hospitality within our team. The day began with a pickleball tournament at Canoe Landing, where staff received expert guidance from Coach Karl before engaging in some friendly competition. We also participated in team-building activities, including a game of Werewolf, which encouraged collaboration and camaraderie, even as the "Werewolves" continued their winning streak. Naturally, no Potluck would be complete without exceptional food. We enjoyed a diverse array of dishes, with highlights including smoked brisket and homemade ice cream, showcasing our team’s culinary talents. It was a day that truly reflected our team's strong spirit and commitment to building meaningful connections. At HTA 75, we believe in creating a healthy, happy work and training environment for our staff and participants. We recognize that team-building events and activities play a vital role in maintaining a positive work environment. We are committed to investing in our team to ensure we set an example for all who participate in our training programs and work in the hospitality industry.
