Partnerships are key to our business. An effective supply chain helps ensure we are flowing in the right direction. That is why we were excited to sponsor Supply Chain Canada's West Fall Conference. Not only did our team learn a lot about leveraging the power of relationships, but our own Laralyn Klesken, VP of Procurement Canada and Craig Dicken, Canada Supply Chain Manager, helped lead these thought-provoking conversations as part of a panel and as a guest speaker. We hope attendees got just as much value out of the conference as we did!

Most Dedicated. Most Team Spirit. Most Improved. Since 1981, the Esso Medals program has helped coaches recognize young players for their commitment on the ice. Our newly designed Esso Medals were forged using metal from hockey legend Hayley Wickenheiser's skate blades. They don't just inspire greatness. They're made from it. The past and future are intersecting in a unique way for Laura Armstrong, Planning and Stewardship Advisor at our Strathcona Refinery. With deep family roots in farming and nearly two decades at Imperial, Laura is bringing her passion for agriculture and energy together as part of the Refinery's new renewable diesel facility, which will use locally sourced crops and hydrogen to produce fuel. “It’s such an innovative project that will power vehicles and industries, all while supporting local farmers. That makes me proud to be a part of both sides.”

We believe in the power of education to transform lives. That's why we are proud to invest in the Tutoring Table program, a part of the United Way of Calgary and Area's All in for Youth initiative. This partnership will expand the existing math-focused program to include a dedicated science tutoring stream, boosting STEM education and supporting local high school students aged 14-21. Delivered by the YMCA Calgary, this initiative empowers vulnerable youth in Calgary to develop essential skills, build their confidence, and ignite a passion for learning.
