Follow these steps: Step 1 Do an audit. ↳ Ask your team how they use AI  ↳ Ask your people about their relations to AI ↳ Scan your workflows for bottlenecks ↳ Scan your processes for challenges Step 2 Learn from the insights. ↳ Learn more about your team's AI skills ↳ Find your internal AI champions ↳ Identify workflows that you can improve (with or without AI) ↳ Identify potential AI use cases for quick results Step 3 Create an AI roadmap. ↳ Find and detail the first AI use case ↳ Explain expected results after inserting AI ↳ Prepare a plan on how to implement AI ↳ Get your champions to help you with the rollout Step 4 Do an AI pilot program. ↳ Add 1 AI tool to 1 workflow with 1 use case ↳ Track and monitor results and usage of the AI tool ↳ Train internal team to use the tool at their best of their abilities ↳ Share the learnings of the program with everyone Step 5 Go all in. Once you have one program, do more. The goal is to roll out more use cases in time. You can start small.  Build up from there. But never forget the big picture: AI is not a tool.     Prompting is creativity. Here’s why ↓↓ There’s a lot of concern that AI will replace human creativity. People say AI produces generic, uniform content. And with so much AI-generated content flooding the internet... ...what will happen to designers, copywriters, and artists? It sounds like a tragedy for creativity. But is it? Let’s face two hard truths. 1. Most content is already generic. It was yesterday. It is today. It will be tomorrow. AI or not, most of us create content with conformity. Are you being creative when you take a selfie with Positano as background? Like millions before you? The only difference now is that AI makes it easier to create content. But here’s the catch—you still need creativity to break out. 2. Creativity doesn’t come from knowledge alone. You can master Adobe Illustrator and still be an average designer. You can read 1,000 books and still be an average writer. Creativity comes from - intuition - loosely connected ideas - taste - self-reflection - intelligence These are inherently human traits that AI can’t replicate. So, does AI make creativity less important? On the contrary. As Ilya Sutskever, co-founder of OpenAI, put it: "AI is the brush in the painter's hand." Now, with AI, everyone has the tools to create. Everyone has a brush and a blank canvas. The question is: how will you use the brush? It all comes down to how you prompt the AI. Prompt better = more creative output. Train AI better with prompting = more unique results. Creativity will remain essential for: - asking the right questions through prompting - judging and refining AI-generated content - thinking strategically over time AI doesn’t understand time or experience. AI lacks self-reflection. AI lacks creativity. But we do. It’s up to us to harness our creativity and use AI to enhance, not replace it. -- I'm Peter.     To all my European friends here: the EU will reboot its tech sector. Let me explain. As an EU citizen living in Italy and working at the intersection of AI, tech, and marketing, I found Mario Draghi's latest report super important. The EU's competitiveness is in ruins.  It needs a restart. Problems are: ↳ High level of red tape to incorporate ↳ Medium-to-low level of digitalization in general ↳ High level of regulations in privacy and data management ↳ And the obvious one no1: energy prices (3-5x than in the US)  ↳ And the obvious one no2: low level of internal supply chain sharing of raw materials Draghi's report addresses all problems. He proposes a plan to reboot the EU's competitiveness.  The plan is bold. Key recommendations: → All-in on AI, semiconductors, and high-speed networks → All-in on common tech standards and way towards a single market → Avoid regulatory fragments in data between members and partners → Refocus EU investments on high-risk scaleup ventures via the EIB → Focus financial assets to promote EU-wide digitalization In an ideal world, this will mean: ↳ The EU will be the champion of open common standards ↳ The EU will be a fantastic place to start tech, especially AI business ↳ The EU will finance, invest, and promote scaleup tech ventures The report went live a couple of weeks ago.  It had some immediate effects.  Thierry Breton is no longer a commissioner. He was behind the Digital Services Act, the EU AI Act, and many other horror shows from the EU. I am very optimistic now.  If anyone, it would be "Super" Mario Draghi, who can reboot the EU.
