Today is World Mental Health Day! 🧠   Every year on October 10th, we come together to celebrate the importance of mental health. At JA Canada, we value the importance of mental well-being every day. We’re proud to offer resources for youth, including our Mental Well-being Challenge.   In partnership with the Z Zurich Foundation, this challenge empowers youth to enhance their well-being to become more resilient and build a supportive community. Embark on a new era of education! 🚀 Introducing the Career Exploration Centre: an open-access virtual platform designed for self-exploration. With a variety of learning resources, the centre is designed to help students aged 13-18 learn about trends and emerging career opportunities so they can be better informed and prepared to make decisions about their future career choices. Integrating mental well-being education and skill building at the core of our career readiness and entrepreneurship programs. 🧠 JA Canada’s collaboration with Zurich Canada and Z Zurich Foundation has ignited an array of initiatives: Success Skills program revamp, Youth Summits, Webinars and courses, Youth Mental Well-being challenge, and Resiliency Modules - that provide youth with experiential learning opportunities to step out of their comfort zone, build connections with peers and mentors, and prepare for personal and professional success. “Together, we’re building a brighter future, one where mental well-being is prioritized and understood,” Ray Chaaya, Vice-president of Employee Experience and Culture at Zurich Canada. This academic year alone, over 80,000 people across have been positively impacted through all the initiatives supported by this partnership. Empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs! 💡   Every summer, we shine a spotlight on our incredible budding entrepreneurs and their advisors. For nearly a decade, CIBC has generously supported our JA Company Program teams. We’re excited to spotlight the three companies supported by CIBC this year: Tapi, Totelly DIY, and Ink Again. ✨   Over several weeks, these students master the art of launching a business from the ground up.
