For 20+ years, JA Central Ontario has partnered with BMO to champion life-changing learning experiences and initiatives that enhance youth financial literacy and community resilience. In the past academic year alone, 160 BMO volunteers have delivered essential financial skills to nearly 2,200 youth across 80 classrooms in Central Ontario as well as learning for the next generation of Canadian entrepreneurs. In late May, 76 students from Dunbarton high school had an unforgettable learning experience thanks to Aecon Group Inc. ‘Exploring a Career in the Trades’ was an interactive experience that equipped students with the skills and knowledge they need for a future in the trades. 12 enthusiastic Aecon volunteers shared invaluable insights on their journey, inspiring students to pursue their dream careers. Grateful for the encouragement and diverse opportunities highlighted, students left feeling empowered and motivated. With the support of Z Zurich Foundation, we’ve continued to empower young minds to build thriving communities. 🤝🏻 In the 2023–2024 school year, 61 dedicated Zurich Canada volunteers made an impact on over 3,000 students across Canada. Together, we delivered experiences through the Company Program, Career Accelerator, Economics for Success and Mental Health Well-Being Summit.
