“Our mental well-being collaboration with Zurich Canada is directly aligned with our goal to support youth in developing the mindset for life, academic, and career success,” said Scott Hillier, CEO of JA Canada, in 2022. “We are grateful for Z Zurich Foundation and Zurich Canada's collaboration and investment.”
JA Canada integrates mental well-being into its learning experiences to ensure young people are not only equipped with practical skills for career success but also have the emotional resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges. Recognizing that mental well-being is crucial to overall success, JA Canada, in partnership with Z Zurich Foundation, aims to provide a holistic approach to education and skill development. By incorporating this content into JA learning experiences, students learn to build a toolkit for managing stress, understanding their emotions, and developing resilience in a healthy way. Today, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to honour the children who never returned home and the Survivors of residential schools as well as their families and communities. We can all contribute and be part of the change by educating ourselves, listening to others and actively taking action towards reconciliation. We encourage you to participate in the actions towards reconciliation for a better future, not only today but every day. #OrangeShirtDay #TruthAndReconciliation #veriteetreconciliation #September30 #EveryChildMatters #JACanada #Canada #NationalDayForTruthAndReconciliation #reconciliation #Sep30

Empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs! 💡 Every summer, we shine a spotlight on our incredible budding entrepreneurs and their advisors. For nearly a decade, CIBC has generously supported our JA Company Program teams. We’re excited to spotlight the three companies supported by CIBC this year: Tapi, Totelly DIY, and Ink Again. ✨ Over several weeks, these students master the art of launching a business from the ground up. "Our team’s resilience and creativity were crucial in navigating hurdles and turning them into learning opportunities,” says Richard Xie, a JA Company Program student from JA British Columbia. 💼 Such transformative experiences are made possible by partners who share JA’s mission. A CP student from JA Central Ontario expresses, “We would like to thank CIBC for sponsoring our company and providing advisors who played a crucial role in our success. Your support has been essential in our team’s development and growth.” 🙌 JA and CIBC- empowering young entrepreneurs and helping them achieve their dreams!
