Their path took them from Vancouver to Toronto, where Samuel has been pivotal in growing our operations in Ontario and Quebec. Fun Facts! 🎉 Here are some highlights from Samuel's journey: ✔️He was there on Marc Lacazedieu's first day at Menard! ✔️He once operated a dynamic compaction crane with six wheels!🏗️ ✔️When he joined, Menard had just 50 employees! 3 Words to Describe 25 Years: Great Team, Hard Work, Success! 💪 We sincerely thank Samuel for his dedication and passion over the years. We look forward to continuing this journey together and experiencing many more years of success and innovative projects! 🚀 Happy 25th Work Anniversary, Samuel! 🏗️ Did you know that below-grade structure can contribute up to 60% of a building's total embodied carbon? With new regulations capping carbon emissions in construction, how do we compare different foundation support solutions? 🤔 #MenardCanada study with Blackwell Engineers addresses this challenge head-on, evaluating the carbon impact of various foundation strategies at the project conception phase for some recreational centres. Our research uncovered that in LCA A1-A3 phases, ground improvement solutions can reduce carbon footprint by up to 35% compared to deep foundations under identical building and soil conditions where structural slabs are involved. ⁉️Why does this matter to you ⁉️ ✅Evaluate the carbon impact of a given foundation strategy focusing on A1-A3 phases at the conception phase and A1-A5 later in the development cycle. ✅Use below-grade structure options at the conception stage to mitigate the upfront carbon impact of the project. ✅Stay ahead of tightening carbon regulations and gain a competitive edge. 💡Interested in a detailed carbon impact assessment for your specific geotechnical challenges?
