Congratulations to Manuel Gorrin, Director of Mission & J.E.D.I. at Nature’s Path Organic Foods, for joining the The Climate Collaborative Board of Directors! The Climate Collaborative is a nonprofit organization with a mission to activate rigorous climate action in the grocery industry. They remove barriers to climate action for companies through education, pre-competitive collaborations, policy opportunities, and a Commitment Program that provides high-impact pathways for climate engagement. This is an exciting and impactful step for our team towards supporting climate action in the United States and beyond, as the Climate Collaborative currently works with thousands of brands, distributors, retailers, and associations to accelerate meaningful and just climate action and advocacy throughout the food system. We look forward to further development and continuous improvement – keep your eyes peeled for more exciting updates, and congratulations, Manuel! Spread the love, TOGETHER 🌈 Nature’s Path & Love Crunch are proud to support It Gets Better for a second year! It Gets Better Project is a nonprofit organization that strives to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe. Created in 2010 as the result of one of the most successful viral video campaigns in YouTube’s history, It Gets Better provides critical support and hope to LGBTQ+ youth around the world by leveraging the power of media to reach millions of people each year. More than 770,000 people have taken the It Gets Better pledge to share messages of hope and speak up against intolerance. Love, acceptance, and inclusion have long been cornerstones of the Love Crunch brand, and giving back is at the core of everything we do. In 2023, alongside our monetary donation, we supported IGBP’s, “50 States. 50 Grants. 5,000 Voices.” granting campaign by providing healthy, organic snacks to the grantees across the United States and Canada. There are often barriers to accessing healthy, affordable food in many of the communities they grant, and we're honored to help foster a sense of wellness and love for these young LGBTQ+ folks and their loved ones. This year, as allies, we're proud to celebrate the queer community through cash and product donations, signing the IGBP Pledge, and working closely with It Gets Better to offer learning opportunities for our team members, including programming such as “Lunch and Learns” and Ally Training. Together, we can create a world where all LGBTQ+ youth are free to live equally and know their power as individuals. 💪 Learn more about IGBP here: www.itgetsbetter.org
