Today the Company announced an exploration update confirming the intersect of visible gold on its drilling program at Reefton on the South Island of New Zealand. RUA GOLD (TSX-V: RUA, OTC: NZAUF) is an exploration company, strategically focused on two prolific gold districts in New Zealand with proven high-grade gold deposits with a team behind it that have a track record of success. The Company controls the Reefton Gold District as the dominant landholder in the Reefton Goldfield on New Zealand’s South Island. RUA GOLD will have approximately 120,000 hectares of tenements (upon successful completion of the purchase of Reefton Resources Pty Limited, see announcement on July 15, 2024), in a district that historically produced over 2.0 million ounces of gold grading between 9 and 50 grams per tonne. The Company’s Glamorgan Project, a highly prospective project located within the North Islands’ Hauraki Gold Field. It is within 3 kms of OceanaGold’s biggest gold mining project, Wharekirauponga. The Hauraki Goldfield has produced an impressive 15 million ounces of gold and 60 million ounces of silver. This project solidifies RUA GOLD’s position as a leading high-grade gold explorer in the region.

Huge news this morning out of Australia. The Siren Gold Limited Shareholders have approved Acquisition of their Reefton Resources project on the South Island of New Zealand. The Transaction will increase our regional tenement holdings from ~34k ha to ~120k ha and cover all known past production camps outside of Blackwater and the Globe Progress mine. It was a journey to get to where we are and the Siren and RUA GOLD teams are going to be working collaboratively to advance this gold antimony district, with the help of a extremely supportive government in New Zealand behind us.

Here it is! The list of projects to be included in the Fast Track bill have just been released. For those that don’t know about this, New Zealand and passing a bill that will streamline the approval process for mining projects down to a six month timeline! That is huge and will be world leading standard. In the list announced includes OceanaGold Corporation Wharekirauponga (WKP) project and Santana Minerals Ltd Bendigo project. Very excited to see this positive move coming and so happy to see a huge win for the New Zealand economy, jobs and regional development. This morning we announced an update on our exploration progress at Glamorgan. 3 key take aways to be looking for: 1. As previous reiterated, New Zealand is continually proving they are open for business for mining and we have successfully achieved our initial access permits. 2. We are seeing the hallmarks that that we are sitting on top of a major epithermal system. 3. The two important upcoming catalysts will be the expected approval of drill permits in Q1 2025, and seeing the neighboring property owned by OceanaGold Corporation, Wharekirauponga, get approved for the fast track approvals bill (Q4 2024).
