We recently welcomed representatives from Campfire Circle to our Mapleview store to celebrate an incredible achievement.   The Mapleview cash team was our top fundraising store for the second year in a row, raising $13,000 in donations to support Campfire Circle, which brings the joy of camp to children with childhood illnesses in a safe and welcoming environment. As a token of appreciation, the top three cashiers received handmade gifts from the campers. Their success is a testament to the team's ability to engage with their community and rally around such an important cause.   This accomplishment is part of our Sporting Life 10K campaign. Since 2003, the Sporting Life 10K has raised over $25 million! Each year, our cashiers take part in a round-up challenge at the registers, with 100% of the donations going directly to Campfire Circle. The store that collects the most donations is honored with the SL 10K trophy! 🏆   Thanks to the generous support of our valued customers during the 2024 in-store round-up campaign, we collectively raised $46,000—equivalent to 18 weeks of camp, bringing joy and unforgettable experiences to those who need it most.   #SportingLife #CampfireCircle #GivingBack

Happy National Intern Day! 🎉 Today, we celebrate the contributions that Ethan Drohomirecki made during his 3-month Customer Experience Ambassador internship. As Canada Day fast approaches, we couldn't think of a better time to spotlight our 'Get Out and Play' reward program, where we recognize our outstanding employees with unforgettable experiences in the great Canadian playground!   This unique monthly initiative celebrates two high-performing associates from each store and their chosen guests, giving them the chance to explore Canada's breathtaking outdoors through a variety of activities.
