Today, I had the opportunity to present the work I've been doing throughout my summer student term at Stuart Olson Inc. Reflecting on my experiences, I’m amazed by how much I’ve accomplished and the responsibilities I’ve taken on. I condensed my favorite parts into a 20-minute presentation and am very grateful to my colleagues who attended and supported me.   Today also marks one week left of my time as a student here at Stuart Olson. It's incredible how quickly the summer has flown by!   My experience has been amazing. I’m thankful for the guidance and encouragement from my team members and colleagues. I’m proud to say that my first "big girl" job was a success, and I will carry everything I’ve learned forward in my career, wherever it may lead.   In these four short months, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and insight. One highlight was visiting a client site, which gave me a deep understanding and respect for the work our craftspeople do on the ground. This experience allowed me to better advocate for the people who form the foundation of our company.   I’m grateful for the chance to apply my education, collaborate with others, and learn about the construction industry. McMurray Metis, and the Infinity Metis Corporation hosted their 24th annual fundraising golf tournament at the always well prepared Miskanaw GCC. Perfect weather and great friends gathered to pitch in and support the Bursary Program with much needed and well deserved scholarship funds. Over the years many recipients have accessed these bursaries and put their post secondary education to good use. With great food, many games and skills rewarded all afternoon it truly showcased the McMurray spirit. If you missed it this year mark your calendars for next year. In May, we were thrilled to welcome Parker Bagg, a talented summer student in our Marketing department. Now, as her time at Bird Stuart Olson draws to a close, we sat down with Parker to reflect on her journey with us. Last week, we shared some insight into our Bundle Pulling services, exploring heat exchangers and the bundle pullers themselves. This week, site Manager Adam MacDonnell provides an in-depth look at the Bundle Puller training process. He takes us behind the scenes to explain the steps involved in completing a final Bundle Puller installation, while Superintendent Tim Vlooswyk directs his team in carrying out these tasks. This glimpse into the daily operations of Bundle Pulling highlights the importance of not only equipment handling but also effective communication with team members and awareness of external factors like weather changes.

Stuart Olson and Infinity Métis Corporation (IMC) are proud to unveil some exciting news. Post-acquisition of Norcan Electric’s assets in Q1 this year, we have transitioned the partnership with IMC to Stuart Olson Infinity.

l am still deeply honored to have received the NHSA of the Year award. As a safety professional, our primary focus is not on accolades, but on ensuring that everyone returns home safely to their loved ones each day. The National Board certification opens us up to potential new business and reflects our mature quality program.
