But a deeper look at mid-funnel performance showed that the one they planned to cut was actually their best performer — great engagement, high-quality leads. The vendor they planned to keep? High volume but low engagement — just a list of names. Focusing on the middle saved them from wasting money and kept the vendors who delivered real value.
