About us
The Period Purse is a non-profit registered charity that strives to achieve menstrual equity and reduce the stigma surrounding periods. The organization works with community partners, local volunteers and committed donors to deliver menstrual products to people in need. TPP outreach allows the public to run mini drives by collecting financial & in-kind donations for period products. TPP education runs virtual (& in person) presentations to educate everyone about menstruation and reduce the stigma of periods. The new Interim Executive Director will work remotely and be an experienced senior leader who will provide strategic and operational oversight and manage a staff team of 12. This is a flexible 2-3 days a week contract for a minimum of six months. Ideal start date is ASAP or by the end of October 2024. Compensation is based on $120,000 to $140,000 per annum, prorated according to number of days per week. Many folks may not be able to afford period products, or may forget to bring some to work when they unexpectedly get their period. This can affect a menstruator’s experience at work.
