Over the past eight years, we have conducted a School Scholarship Program for Academic Excellence, and this week we celebrated with our employees at Minera Media Luna who benefited from this recognition for their children. During the past 2023-2024 school year, we awarded 235 scholarships worth $10,000 MXN each. Since the program began, we have invested $8,828,000 MXN in this program, with a total of 1,114 scholarships awarded. We believe that encouraging our employees' children to maintain their studies and pursue their hopes and dreams is an important and worthwhile investment. We congratulate all of the youth who received these scholarships for their perseverance and dedication to academic success.

For the third consecutive year, we are proud to have obtained the Safe and Healthy Working Environments Program (ELSSA) distinction, granted by the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). This recognition reflects our sustained commitment to continuously improve the safety and well-being of our employees, including the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases, the promotion of healthy lifestyles and the promotion of mental well-being and psychological safety in our workplace. It also reflects the genuine commitment of our entire team to health and safety and the constant focus of our operational leaders within our operations to implement systems and strategies to support the individual and collective wellness of our team. We are proud to share that the INTERNATIONAL CYANIDE MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (ICMI) has announced that Torex has been certified in full compliance with the International Cyanide Management Code, a voluntary industry program focused on the safe and environmentally responsible management of cyanide in the production of precious metals. We acknowledge our entire team at Minera Media Luna for all of their hard work over the past three years to gain this full certification status. As we continue to focus on generating significant value for our shareholders, we are doing so in a way that ensures zero harm to our people and the environment around us. This certification is an important step in our efforts to position ourselves as one of the safest and best mining companies in the industry. We are pleased to announce Q3 2024 gold production of 119,412 ounces. With year-to-date gold production of 348,728 ounces, Torex is well on track to achieve annual gold production guidance of 400,000 to 450,000 ounces.   “Overall, the strong operational performance combined with a record high gold price supports continued margin expansion and robust cash flow generation. Excellent first day at the inaugural CIM Health and Safety Conference where our President and CEO Jody Kuzenko joined Mark Cutifani, Chair of Vale Base Metals and Kelly Strong, Vice President Phosphates North America, Mosaic, to talk about safety leadership and building and maintaining strong safety cultures. We thank and congratulate CIM | Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum for organizing such an important dialogue for the mining industry. Looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow!

This week our President and CEO Jody Kuzenko was honoured to act as Canadian Co-Chair of the North Capital Forum 2024 #NCF24, which took place in Mexico City. The Forum provided a perfect platform for Jody and our SVP Mexico Faysal Rodríguez to meet decision-makers within President Sheinbaum’s new administration and discuss the real opportunities that lie ahead within Mexico’s mining industry. ‘I think what’s next for Mexico is mining…Mexico is at its core a mining country….and I think it matters very much to this administration coming in. Torex is very pleased to welcome Caroline Donally CA(SA) to our Board of Directors effective October 1, 2024. Ms. Donally has over 27 years of experience in finance and investments, predominantly in mining. She is a Managing Partner of Sprott Inc and Managing Partner of Sprott Resource Streaming and Royalty, where she’s responsible for all aspects of the business from institutional fund raising to mining investments. Prior to her role at Sprott, she was a Managing Director at Denham Capital (mining private equity) and ran a $1 billion global mining portfolio. Prior to that she worked for Investec Bank and Rand Merchant Bank, providing project and development finance to mining companies. She started her career at BDO Spencer Steward.  Ms. Donally currently serves as a director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. and previously served a director of Turquoise Hill Resources and Highland Copper Company Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honours) from the University of South Africa, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand and the CA(SA) Chartered Accountant designation. Ms. Donally frequently provides her views on the mining finance and investment markets to the press and is a regular speaker on mining investments at international conferences. She has been awarded the title of one of “100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining” twice. Torex is proud to be part of an industry-wide effort to attract more women to the mining industry, in part, by telling their stories. ‘Mujeres Mineras Mexicanas’ is an exceptional book produced by Marabella Centel, that tells the stories of 11 women who work in the Mexico mining industry, including our own Lucía García, CPA, Finance Manager and Yazmin Garcia, Control Tower Dispatcher. The book’s forward was written by our SVP, Mexico Faysal Rodríguez, who understands that attracting more women to the mining industry is the work of both women and men.
