October 25th will mark one year since Hurricane Otis hit Acapulco and left the loss of life and a wake of destruction in its path. Following the devastating storm, Torex pledged to be there for the City of Acapulco in its recovery efforts, and in Torex fashion we have stayed true to our word. We are proud to have signed a Collaboration Agreement with the Welfare Secretariat of Guerrero, which confirms the contribution of resources to the reforestation of Acapulco's “Parque Papagayo”, which suffered considerable damage after the hurricane. Parque Papagayo is a vital space for recreation and leisure, and we look forward to restoring the area for the enjoyment of the people of Acapulco and everyone who comes to visit this beautiful city. Faysal Rodríguez, Senior Vice President Mexico signed the agreement with the head of the Welfare Secretariat, Mr. Pablo André Gordillo Oliveros. Torex and Minera Media Luna will continue to be there for the State of Guerrero as an important partner in these recovery efforts. #MexicoMining

Torex has just released an updated life-of-mine plan for the Morelos Complex that incorporates initial reserves from the EPO underground deposit following completion of an internal pre-feasibility study.   With the addition of EPO mineral reserves, the production profile of the Morelos Complex is now firmly established at a minimum of 450 thousand gold equivalent ounces per year through 2030 on the mineral reserve case alone. Notable highlights of the study include: ✅ EPO will be a very capital efficient mine to bring into production, with estimated upfront capex of $81.5 M ✅ Minimal upfront development required to access and connect EPO to Media Luna ✅ Close proximity to Media Luna leverages the investment in infrastructure as part of the Media Luna Project. The Guajes Tunnel, conveyor, ore handling system, paste plant, mineral processing facilities and power and water infrastructure will all be utilized for EPO ✅ The “fill the mill” goal is achieved –the combination of Media Luna production + ELG Underground + EPO results in the mill being full, with mine plan optionality, flexibility, and contingency built in ✅ Low risk brownfield project – situated within the existing, permitted footprint ✅ The timing of EPO derisks the Media Luna ramp up and complements an already robust liquidity outlook – development and the associated capital investment is scheduled to start mid-2025 and initial production expected late-2026 ✅ EPO will further complement the Company’s exposure to the copper market – with 143 million pounds at a grade of 1.29% Cu within the inaugural EPO mineral reserve of 781 koz AuEq.   Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eV7vU2Rm Minera Media Luna #TheNextTen #Morelos
