On September 12, Dr. Lori Brotto, executive director, Women's Health Research Institute, Dr. Stephanie Rhone, senior medical director, BC Women’s and Cheryl Davies, chief operating officer, BC Women’s joined provincial and federal Health Ministers Adrian Dix and Mark Holland for an exciting announcement. Congratulations to Holy Ghaly, the recipient of the inaugural Dr. Monica K. Li and Family Undergraduate Medical Student Research Award in Women’s Health! This award supports racial/ethnic minority medical students in advancing women’s and newborn health research. This funding opportunity aims to accelerate digital health solutions towards clinical or community implementation by supporting researchers to develop prototype solutions, test feasibility in the operational context, assemble the required partnerships and teams, develop clinical and/or operational evidence, and create a plan for sustainment and scale-up. 📝 Apply for up to $50,000 in funding!
