With over nine inspections annually, both within Glencore and externally, our XPS Industry Relevant Solutions has deep expertise and experience in shutdown planning, engineering scoping, on-site repair design, and remaining life assessments enabling the team to identify and solve complex issues before they escalate. Recently, our team pinpointed a critical gas heat exchanger problem during a shutdown inspection, enabling emergency repairs to prevent the release of emissions and avoid a costly unplanned plant shutdown. This proactive approach not only preserves the environment, but also ensures uninterrupted operations, showcasing the team’s expertise in equipment integrity and process troubleshooting. Glad to hear of this recent success story from our materials technology group. Keep them coming, Dan Falcioni and Wilson Pascheto.
