  • Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending an incredible event hosted by QueerTech. If you’re not familiar with QueerTech, they’re an amazing organization led by Naoufel Testaouni, dedicated to empowering 2SLGBTQ+ folks in tech. (Fun fact: VG’s very own Bobbie Racette is Chair of the Board!) Events like these are a reminder of why showing up matters—you never know who you’ll meet, what connections you’ll make or the conversations that will spark new ideas. A huge thank you to QueerTech for fostering such a welcoming and dynamic space for the community. #QueerTech #2SLGBTQinTech #Community #Networking #RepresentationMatters

Gender equality isn’t just a conversation—it’s a commitment. This #IWD, as we celebrate, we also know that women are still doing more unpaid labour, still being asked to organize, mentor, and lead without pay, and still facing barriers that keep them from opportunities. The work isn’t done. And let's be real, it feels like in ways, we are taking steps backwards. 🚧 Globally, women perform up to 2.5 times more unpaid household work than men—without recognition or compensation. 🚧 Beyond the workplace, true equity means access to education, informed health decisions, opportunities in sports, sustainable agriculture, and creative freedom. At Virtual Gurus, action speaks louder than words: ✔️ 80% of our leadership team are women. ✔️ 80% of our team members come from underserved communities. Our CEO, Bobbie Racette, is continuing the work to shape the way forward and leading a team whose commitment to equity, inclusion, and innovation is driving. Now, more than ever, it’s time to stand firm. DEI is being challenged. Inclusion isn’t a trend. The fight for equity isn’t over. The best way to celebrate women? Invest in them. Pay them. Open doors for them. To all the women leading, building, creating, and pushing forward—whether with us, in your own businesses, or in your communities, and to our brilliant team—we see you, we support you, and we thank you. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #DiversityAndInclusion #VirtualGurus

  • Delegation sounds great in theory—more time, less stress, better focus. But when it comes down to actually handing off tasks, that’s where a lot of people freeze. 🔹 “It’s faster if I just do it myself.” 🔹 “What if they don’t do it right?” 🔹 “I don’t even know where to start.” I get it. Letting go is hard. But you don’t have to delegate everything at once. Start small. Here’s how: ✅ Pick one recurring task—something that eats up time but doesn’t need you personally to do it. (Hint: Emails? Scheduling? Research?) ✅ Write down how you do it—think of it as creating a simple checklist so someone else can follow your process. ✅ Test with low-stakes tasks—delegate a few things first, then build from there. At VG, we help hundreds of businesses hand off admin, customer service, and AI-powered receptionist tasks so they can focus on what they do best. And here’s the secret: Once you start delegating one thing, it gets easier to do more. What’s the first task you’d delegate if you could? 👇 Get our delegation guide here: https://hubs.ly/Q038fq2S0
