These scholarships not only empower the recipients to further their education but also contribute to a more diverse and inclusive workforce in mining. We believe that fostering talent and supporting women in this field is essential for driving innovation and success in the industry.     Earlier this week we were able to present our scholarship winners with their awards. This year's scholarship winners include: Kiara Amor, an environmental technician student at Confederation College Amy Brush, a geology student at Lakehead University Harshi Dave, a chemical engineering student at Lakehead University Destiny Eissner, a chemical engineering student at Lakehead University Meghna Gosai , a geology student at Lakehead University Megan Mason, a geology student at Lakehead University Brooke Miller, a geology student at Lakehead University It is wonderful to see the program grow and we are so grateful for all of our generous sponsors, as this would not be nearly the program that it is without them.   • Barrick Hemlo and Pic River Development Corporation spread holiday joy at Wilson Memorial’s Long Term Care ward on December 17th. They provided Christmas gifts for all residents, while the Grade 1 and 2 students from Biigtigong Nishnaabeg brightened the day with festive carols. Nurses on duty were also given heartfelt gifts as a gesture of appreciation.
