Plant-based alternatives, although gaining traction, don't appeal to many consumers, as they don't replicate the dairy texture and are filled with additives. At Cultivated Bio we want to fix this. We develop an emulsion from yeast, which brings creaminess to dairy-free products and cleans labels.

𝗔 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗣𝗦𝗔 𝟭𝟭𝟵𝟬 𝗟𝗗 & 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗿 Since Cultivated Biosciences decided to automate their sample measurement process for dairy-free creamy food ingredients in August 2024, they have significantly increased their sample throughput. «Working with the Anton Paar PSA 1190 and Litesizer Autosampler enables us to measure up to 60 samples per day without having to spend any time in front of the device after starting the procedure. This saves us days of time that we can use for other experiments and to run different analyses in parallel. Since a few weeks, this company relies on the Anton Paar PSA 1190 LD Particle Size Analyzer and on the new Litesizer Autosampler for the R&D and Quality Control of the production of dairy-free creamy food ingredient produced via biomass fermentation and extraction technologies. The Autosampler enables automated sample analysis in conjunction with the PSA - both for liquid and dry samples simultaneously - of up to 60 samples in a single run! ⛰ Last week, our team swapped laptops and lab coats for hiking boots and headed to the mountains of Davos for our yearly traditional offsite! It wasn’t just about the fresh alpine air. We dug deep in workshops, climbed new peaks of collaboration, and had more than a few laughs along the way.
