We have been at Nomad Circle and we loved it. Both in Capri last July and now again in St Moritz we are always enthusiastic to partecipate in this very prestigious gathering, where designers, art galleries and brands meet. We have created a bespoke fabric for Giuliano Andrea dell'Uva and his project for the A-Ma-Re Capri pop up restaurant: our collaboration with him is a continuous occasion of reciprocal discovery. • Fischbacher 1819 is proud to partner with NOMAD St. Moritz, an exceptional event where design, art, and craftsmanship converge. This year, the spotlight is on a-Ma-Re Capri, a refined dining experience crafted by renowned architect Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva in collaboration with Jumeirah Capri Palace. Set against the breathtaking alpine backdrop of St. Moritz, a-Ma-Re Capri seamlessly blends the sun-drenched elegance of the Mediterranean with the cosy charm of the Engadine. The culinary experience, featuring highlights such as Franco Pepe’s artisanal pizzas and Salvatore Elefante’s ziti alla Genovese, is mirrored in an interior concept that captures the warmth of Capri while embracing the crystalline brilliance of the Alps. We look forward to welcoming guests to this extraordinary experience at NOMAD St. Moritz. #NOMAD #Fischbacher1819 #aMaReCapri #GiulianoDellUva #JumeirahCapriPalace #StMoritz #AlpineElegance #DesignExcellence

New Year, New Collection: Marcel Wanders unveils an exciting collaboration with Fischbacher 1819, the globally acclaimed Swiss brand specialising in furnishing fabrics, carpets, and wallcoverings. The capsule textile collection, Ancient Memories, is a journey through time, exploring the archaeology of fabrics. In his dialogue with Fischbacher 1819, Marcel Wanders delves into how design can transcend surface-level beauty to evoke more profound emotions. Materials become more than decorative—they hold a patina and a depth that narrates the passage of time, giving them an emotional and visual dimension. In this pursuit, Ancient Memories was created in close collaboration with the narrative textile artist Caterina Roppo, celebrated for her ability to infuse stories and memories into the fibres she works with. Caterina helped shape a collection that goes beyond decoration: each weave is a vessel of memory, each thread a bridge connecting past and present, intertwining histories and cultures into one evocative narrative. Special thanks to Fischbacher 1819’s Creative Director, Camilla Douraghy Fischbacher and Head of Design, Claudia Kott!

Here is a look into the recent Hong Kong event hosted by three Swiss design firms: Fischbacher1819, Vitra, and Vzug. The event showcased a small curated selection of each brand's products as well as a Hong Kong-exclusive chair made by Vitra and upholstered with our fabric DORATO. Thanks to its fine lurex yarn, DORATO has a shimmering effect which provides a metallic contrast to the matt linen base. A special tumble finish ensures a buttery soft drape and feel to this quality. DORATO is available in three colourways; a delicate white and rosé hue, gold and blue, and opulent black and copper.
