🎉 Huge congratulations to our amazing research team for placing 14th out of 1,500 teams in François Chollet ARC Challenge 2024! We’re particularly excited about this result, especially because in just the last two weeks, we saw our score jump from 3% to 35%—showing significant potential for further growth. For the competition, we focused on fine-tuning a 1B Llama model leveraging our Smart Automata technology. Additionally, we trained a highly significant 8B model. Although this model wasn’t used in the private competition, we plan to release it as open source by Christmas to benefit the entire community working around the ARC challenge. Even as standalone models, both the fine-tuned 1B and 8B demonstrate impressive performance without online fine-tuning. These models provide an excellent foundation for developing robust online fine-tuning strategies, and we’re excited to see the possibilities they unlock.
