Transnational Intergovernmental Organization “International Commission on Human Rights” – IHRC is an influential private neutral organization recognized for its significant role in global security, peacebuilding, human rights, economic development, and diplomatic and humanitarian activities. IHRC pioneered the creation of the world’s first private diplomatic intergovernmental and transnational organization, known as Transnational Intergovernmental Organization (TIO). The organization operates on the basis of international conventions, including the Vienna Conventions of 1961, 1975 and 1986, and has obtained the status of a transnational intergovernmental organization through diplomatic agreements signed with governments represented by their Ministries of Foreign Affairs. These agreements are further complemented by cooperation with government agencies, the authorities of the autonomous republics, as well as regional and local authorities. The copyright holders of the IHRC logo and graphics are the founders of the IHRC. The IHRC has officially registered and accredited diplomatic missions as Special Diplomatic Missions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Chad, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Niger, Georgia, Ukraine, and as a diplomatic branch in Pakistan. These missions serve as key operational hubs for the IHRC’s diplomatic and humanitarian work. The IHRC has been officially recognized as a diplomatic organization in several countries, enjoying the associated privileges and immunities under international law. Although the IHRC is not affiliated with the United Nations and does not operate as an agency of the UN, it cooperates with the UN on various initiatives. The International Commission on Human Rights issues diplomatic Laissez-Passer cards, Travel Order cards, and CD vehicle marking authorizations to its members involved in IHRC Diplomatic Missions, in line with its Statute's provisions.

  • Introduction by the Secretary-General of the IHRC, Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik Dear friends, ladies and gentlemen, The team of the International Human Rights Commission Foundation (IHRC), based in Switzerland, is pleased to present our 2023 annual report. This 2023 annual report essentially outlines our core activities, highlights the main areas of focus, and provides a general overview of our status at a particular moment in time. This is primarily due to the principles and methods of our work, as well as our long-term goals and aspirations. Everyone working within and in collaboration with the IHRC sets new goals, charts new paths, and establishes new, high standards. For them, we give our best, with full commitment, with our whole hearts, and with all our strength. Our identity is defined by the thousands of people we have already helped and supported. Millions more are still waiting for a heartbeat, a helping hand, a kind word. For them, the needy, every effort is worthwhile. From them, we receive the greatest reward: a smile, a calm gaze, and a friendly handshake. Through our daily actions, we effectively convince others that everyone has something to share with those in need and that no one is so wealthy that they can live without others. Regardless of gender, skin color, religion, wealth, sexual or political orientation, we are all one, no matter where we are in the world. The employees of the IHRC are the best proof of this. I would like to thank all of you once again for your support, cooperation, and above all, your commitment to the most important causes in the world—for my brothers and sisters and the local communities. I am honored that we have come together and can achieve so much together. There is no doubt that none of this would be possible without your involvement. Thanks to your daily commitment, the IHRC today plays a central role in international relations and has a broad structural network and high visibility in the intergovernmental sphere. Thanks to you, the IHRC, in close collaboration with states and local social and institutional organizations, has implemented numerous projects worldwide and will continue to do so. Every day gets better thanks to your contribution. I promise that the IHRC will continue to take on important tasks in the areas of human rights, democracy, healthcare, education, food security, as well as safe migration and dignified treatment in exile in the coming days, months, and years. ...Because what we do today, we do for Generations… 👉🏻https://lnkd.in/dW8Ahufb 👉🏻https://lnkd.in/dQTnRT-S Prof. h.c. • IHRC and NHRO Initiative on the Occasion of Gandhi Jayanti Rajgangpur, Odisha, India, 2nd October In celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, the International Human Rights Commission - IHRC, in collaboration with the National Human Rights Organisation - NHRO, organised an important event today at Shanti Ashram. The aim of this event was to uplift the spirits of the children residing at the ashram and to promote awareness of human rights. Historical Context Gandhi Jayanti, observed annually on 2nd October, commemorates the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, one of the most significant leaders of the independence movement in India. His philosophy of non-violence, known as "ahimsa," has had a profound impact on the global struggle for human rights. Gandhi believed that violence only begets more violence, and true strength lies in the ability to act peacefully and strive for justice. His teachings have inspired numerous social movements worldwide, including the civil rights movements in the United States and the fight for independence in Africa. By celebrating this day, IHRC and NHRO not only honour Gandhi’s legacy but also remind us of the ongoing struggle for justice and equality in society. Under the leadership of NHRO President Mohammad Naushad, the event featured an educational program aimed at informing the children of their rights and responsibilities. Ms. Pooja from the Welfare Department played a significant role in assisting the children throughout the day. Participants enjoyed meals and refreshments, while the morale of the children was further boosted by the distribution of essential school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, and pens. Looking ahead, the teams from IHRC and NHRO have expressed their commitment to organising further educational programs to continue supporting the children and the local community. The event saw active participation from team members: Sk Md Wasim, Manjit Singh, Md Aslam, Md Abid, Md Irshad Alam, and Ansar Ahmed, all of whom played a crucial role in the success of the celebrations. https://lnkd.in/gHdvaV6J Reported: Dawid Szablowski Head of IHRC Press Department #IHRC #NHRO #India #Rajgangpur #Odisha #MahatmaGandhi #Ahimsa #IHRCPress #IHRCNews #Charity #Press #PressFreedom #Jurnalist #Reporter #World #Asia #Africa #Europe #America #Switzerland #InterpolUN #IPCUN #Humanrights #Humanity #HumanityFirst #RafalWasik #Diplomacy #UnGeneva #Unitednations #UnitedNationsHumanRights #Un #Eu #Unhcr

  • IHRC Volunteers in India Support Local Communities Through Education and Human Rights Promotion Volunteers from the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) in India are actively engaging in a series of initiatives aimed at raising awareness about human rights and supporting education in local communities in the states of Uttarakhand and Bihar. These efforts reflect the mission of the IHRC, which is centred on promoting equality, dignity, and justice worldwide. In Uttarakhand, IHRC official volunteer Mangal Das organised a program to spread awareness about human rights. As part of this initiative, IHRC posters and banners were displayed to inform the public about the importance of human rights. One of the key aspects of this event was honouring members of the community by presenting them with symbolic gifts and bouquets of flowers. This gesture served as recognition for their contribution to promoting the values of equality and dignity. In the state of Bihar, IHRC volunteer Parshuram Prasad organised an educational program targeted at children and adults who are unable to read and write. In line with the IHRC’s belief that education is a key driver for personal growth and self-realisation, volunteers made significant efforts to impart knowledge through interactive games and activities. During this event, children received books and educational materials and had the opportunity to participate in learning sessions that combined education with play. This was not only a way to introduce them to the world of knowledge but also to encourage them to continue their educational journey. Bishop Dr. H.E. Shamsher Khan and IHRC volunteer Parshuram Prasad played a pivotal role in implementing this initiative, sharing IHRC’s values and knowledge with the program’s participants. Together, they emphasised the importance of education as a tool for developing skills and building an informed society. These actions reflect IHRC’s commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life in local communities and promoting the values of equality, dignity, and respect for human rights.
