See the change that’s coming over the horizon! This is such a blessing.
Sunshine Gender Humanitarian and Human Rights Initiative received with joy the news that the 287 kidnapped Kuriga School Children in Nigeria has been released. This was according to the Official Statement released this morning by Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani. We commend the effort of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Governor of Kaduna State. Meanwhile, Kaduna state Gov. Uba Sani did not give details of the release of the 287 students abducted from their school in the remote town of Kuriga on March 7. At least 100 of them are aged 12 or younger. At SGHHRI our firm believe and opinion is that at this level of our democracy in Nigeria, we should not even be celebrating this rather we should ensure it did not even happen at all. The innocent school children in Nigeria must all be protect at all cost. #TheNigeriaschoolchildrenlivesmatter We therefore advise the state governors to collaborate with Federal Government of Nigeria and NGOs to devise a modern counter terrorism approach in line with the economic well being of Nigerians to bring the needed peace building and security in the country.
