The seed sector is engaged to support food security. It's always good to be able to share some thoughts. For those in Switzerland, grab a copy of today's Le Temps. Merci Richard Etienne

What a memorable reception yesterday in Gouda, the Netherlands, to celebrate a man who represents what I love in the seed sector: a person building bridges between seed actors around the world, from academia to the public, farmers and civil society, to the private sector, with invaluable soft skills of a true advocate. He is the wise man people like to trust and agree with. Now, you are even a decorated Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau. This is a testimony to your international impact and to the fact that you are so well-rooted in the Netherlands. It was a pleasure to be with you and the Dutch seed sector/ Plantum yesterday. Thank you Niels Louwaars for all your insights, contributions, memories and great moments we had together from the International Seed Federation. God tiens and see you soon. (By the way, it was my 3rd goodbye speech for you in three months…. 😊)
