After 4 years of bringing the Efficiency-as-a-Service model to the European market, the EaaS initiative is releasing its end-of-project report! The #EaaS Briefing contains crucial learnings from the initiative, from stakeholders' feedback to the status of the model in three Western Europe countries, including as well key points to consider when transitioning to subscription-based offerings. All this knowledge is summarised in a unique document developed by the consortium team led by BASE Foundation and including Agoria, ANESE and EIT InnoEnergy along with partners such as The Advanced Services Group and Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes - EEIP. The EaaS Initiative, along with the BASE's Cooling-as-a-Service Initiative, laid the groundwork for what is now the SET Alliance. We are proud to share that SET’s steering committee member Dave Mackerness is part of the Stand Out 50 2024 leaders! What an achievement! Dave took Kaer to new heights by developing one of the first Cooling-as-a-Service (#CaaS) models back in 2013. Now the Singapore-based team is scaling sustainable cooling solutions through #CaaS from India to Malaysia, actively contributing to the acceleration of the transition to highly efficient and natural refrigerants-based systems in the region! Kudos to Dave and the entire team at Kaer!
