A year ago, a vision took shape: to bring humanitarian standards closer to those who need them most. Today, thanks to the incredible partnership with the Türk Kızılay and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - IFRC, that vision is a reality. 💙 “Before the training, Sphere was just a handbook to me. Now, it’s a guide I turn to in every response.” – A humanitarian worker in Türkiye. Through the Sphere Türkiye Project, frontline responders gained the tools to protect lives with dignity: 👥 181 responders trained—from TRCS volunteers to local government officers. 🎓 34 new trainers now ready to pass on their knowledge. 🌍 The Global Focal Points Forum in Antalya brought together humanitarians from 39 countries, sharing experiences and shaping the future of humanitarian aid. 📚 Sphere’s e-learning course is now in Turkish, making it accessible to even more responders. This wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership of Alper Kucuk, Ece Ceren Doğar, and Jessie Thomson and the tireless efforts of Aslı Marasli, who made every detail count. Humanitarian work is about people – those we serve and those who serve. And this partnership proved that when we work together, we create lasting change. 💪 🔗 Read the full blog post @ https://lnkd.in/e-hH8_Sz #SphereTürkiye #HumanitarianImpact #PeopleHelpingPeople #LocalisationInAction #TRCS #IFRC
