Denmark: Lokaltog orders up to 24 new battery-operated vehicles   The contract for the purchase of 14 FLIRT battery-operated vehicles with the option to order ten more was signed today in Taastrup, Denmark. The fleet of FLIRT AKKU trains represents one of the most cost-effective, emission-free rolling stock solutions. Designed with the passenger in mind, trains are comfortable and environmentally-friendly. Six more TINAs for the Netherlands The signing of a contract with HTM Personenvervoer N.V. in The Hague for six more TINA trams means that they will soon have more TINAs than any other rail operator in the world, having now commissioned a total of 62 vehicles. And that’s not their only first: HTM is also the first company in the Netherlands to have ordered trams from Stadler. Passengers will love these technologically sophisticated, sustainable trams, which run on batteries on non-electrified sections of track and feature wide aisles, big windows, high ceilings and spacious seating. 🎬 It’s a wrap! InnoTrans 2024 was a huge success for us. The unanimous feedback from our customers? At this year’s InnoTrans and just in time for the Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway’s 100th anniversary, Stadler presented the new electric metre-gauge multiple unit for Ferrovie Autolinee Regionali Ticinesi SA (FART). The new vehicles, running on behalf of both the Swiss company FART and the Italian company Società Subalpina di Imprese Ferroviarie (SSIF), will be delivered in three- and four-car versions and are meant to link Switzerland and Northern Italy.   A unique, innovative solution tailored to the needs of each operator which boosts travel comfort throughout the whole route.   Watch the video to get the full experience.   #Stadler #InnoTrans #MetreGauge #Innovation

From Berlin for Berlin!       Today we presented the new U-Bahn for Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) at InnoTrans 2024. We are proud to build the next generation of metro trains for Germany's capital. The new ‘JK series’ presented at InnoTrans features 2.40 m wide cars for the smaller profile lines and can be configured into six- or eight-car trains.     These new metro trains offer spacious, barrier-free entrances for quick passenger changes and multi-purpose areas for passengers with limited mobility. The bright and friendly interior and a modern passenger information system ensure a safe and pleasant travel experience. New multisystem locomotives for continental Europe   We are proud to announce that SBB Cargo awarded Stadler to supply 129 new electrical interoperable and multisystem locomotives, signing the first contract for 36 units. These state-of-the-art locomotives are the natural evolution of the proven successful EUROLIGHT, EURODUAL, and EURO9000 families, designed to excel in both freight and passenger service across European railways. Equipped with advanced country-specific packages, including conventional automatic train protection systems and ETCS, the new locomotives are optimized for seamless cross-border operations, making them ideal for transporting goods across Europe. A ‘toolbox on rails’ for the ÖBB      At InnoTrans 2024, Stadler is presenting the ÖBB Servicejet, another new development with a trimodal drive concept.    This train will be part of the ÖBB's future rescue train fleet and will be used throughout Austria in the long term.
