❓ What makes a high-performing team truly exceptional? Over 150 participants joined our live webinar with Professor Anita Williams Woolley, a leading voice on team dynamics and co-author of MIT’s study on collective intelligence to find out how they can build or be part of a winning team. Here’s a recap of what we learned: 👉 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬: Research shows that team intelligence increases with gender diversity, especially with a higher percentage of women, who tend to excel in social perceptiveness—a skill that boosts team effectiveness. 👉 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Leadership today isn’t about a single person at the top. Empowering teams through shared power enhances problem-solving, creativity, and decision quality. 👉 3 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞: Gender, cultural, and cognitive diversity add valuable layers, raising collective intelligence. 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬: High-performing teams set specific, challenging, and aligned goals. 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Frequent, balanced communication and synchronized schedules foster effective collaboration. 👉 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬: Build a “user manual” for your team, set early communication norms, and create a team charter. These foundational steps can transform team collaboration and success. Thank you to our loyal fans of Advance for joining this webinar. Special thanks to our exceptional speaker, Professor Anita Williams Woolley, for sharing her invaluable insights, and to Faye Witteveen for skillfully guiding the discussion. Let’s rethink leadership and design smarter, inclusive teams built to win. Together, we #advance faster! #CollectiveIntelligence #MITInsights #GenderDiversity #GenderEquality #InclusiveLeadership

📢 News! 📅 Mittwoch, 13. November 2024 ⏰ Ab 17:00 Uhr (Programmstart: 17:30 Uhr) 📍 Bern, Heiliggeistkirche Für Infos und Anmeldung hier entlang: https://lnkd.in/eXAxZn5f Wir freuen uns auf euch!🎉 Together, we #advance faster! #Finanzbildung #FinancialLiteracy #Empowerment #GenderEquality

✨ What an inspiring session! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent online cross-company ERG roundtable. We had the honor of having Almut Elisabeth Jehle, Head of Business Transformation P&C at AXA and initiator of Women@AXA, with us, showing us how to master the art of building successful Employee Resource Groups. The practical insights, the many examples, and the hands-on tips are truly valuable. This is what we take away from the webinar: 📌 ERGs go beyond DEI. They are about creating belonging and social health for employees. 📌 The financial budget is not the most critical resource. Having been inspired by creative options from Almut, such as the lunch lottery or a curated newsletter, we now know ways to foster a community and ERGs with a low budget. 📌 Every member might be at a different stage, so, think about the ERG experience journey and offer events for all participation steps. 📌 Motivate your members and keep them engaged by being as personal as possible. A warm welcome note to the new community members is a great and effective start. A big thank you to Almut for leading such an engaging session. The shared enthusiasm, insights, and actionable advice make us eager to continue improving and growing ERGs. ✨ Let’s continue the conversation and empower one another to create lasting change. Together, we #advance faster! #ERG #DiversityandInclusion #CommunityBuilding

Together, we #advance faster!
