I am thrilled to share that as the Co-Lead of the Design Analyze Communicate, Africa (DAC-A), I had the incredible opportunity to attend the 3rd edition of the Conference for Public Health in Africa in Lusaka, Zambia, organized by the Africa CDC. The conference was a phenomenal gathering that brought together over 5000 in-person participants and engaged over 30,000 online participants, creating a vibrant platform for meaningful discussions and collaborations. The theme, "Breaking Barriers and Repositioning Africa in the Global Health Architecture," resonated deeply with our mission to promote clinical trial informativeness in Africa. It was inspiring to witness African public health actors coming together to shape the future of Africa's new public health order. During the conference, I had the privilege to connect with key stakeholders who are dedicated to promoting the clinical trial ecosystem in Africa. Engaging with officials from Africa CDC , CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) , Science for Africa Foundation , Global Health EDCTP3,World Health Organization, and principal investigators, was an invaluable experience. These interactions reinforced our commitment to providing clinical trial protocol review services to principal investigators conducting research in Africa, contributing to the advancement of healthcare on the continent. The enthusiasm, expertise, and dedication displayed by all participants reaffirmed the potential for impactful change and progress in Africa's public health landscape. The energy and collaborative spirit at the conference were truly infectious, and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for the DAC-Africa program. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this transformative event and look forward to leveraging the insights gained to further our mission in advancing clinical research and health outcomes across Africa. #PublicHealth #AfricaHealth #ClinicalTrials #HealthcareInnovation #DACAfrica #AfricaCDC #GlobalHealthArchitecture #Collaboration #HealthcareLeadership
