Today is World Sight Day, and this year’s theme is “Children, Love Your Eyes.” Since 2011, Jebsen Group has actively supported eye health initiatives with Orbis International through our “Project Morning Star” Programme. In phase III, we focus on child eye health: 🧒Screened the eyes of 260,000 children, subsidized eye surgeries for 35 children 👓Provided 709 pairs of eyeglasses to improve child vision 🥼Trained 325 local medical practitioners Reflecting on our volunteer field trip to Yunnan last year, our colleagues engaged with primary school students, teaching them about the importance of eye health and striving to combat avoidable blindness among children. In just 10 days, we’ll be heading to Guangxi for our next field trip as part of our ongoing efforts to safeguard the vision of future generations.
