Present at the Norwegian pavilion were representatives from four Norwegian companies who play a key role in the wind power industry, DNV, Jotun, StormGeo - Nena Analysis and LEADING MARINE (HK) CO.,LIMITED. They were joined by representatives from the Embassy and Innovasjon Norge Ambassador Vebjørn Dysvik held a speech at the opening ceremony of China Wind Power 2024, addressing the green transition and the importance of developing alternative renewable energy sources. Deep-water offshore wind can play a key role in achieving carbon neutrality. Norway is in a unique position to contribute to this development. Based on our competence in offshore oil and gas operations, Norway has built a world-leading offshore wind supply chain that can provide comprehensive, competitive, and high-quality services. The Norwegian Pavilion at China Wind Power is organized by Innovation Norway as a part of an ongoing collaboration under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the China Wind Energy Association and Innovation Norway. The MoU was signed in 2019 and has built a strong foundation for joint efforts by bringing together and coordinating industry leaders from both countries, fostering networking and facilitating bilateral cooperation.
