Following the successful conclusion of the #IAVC exhibition in Hong Kong, the Tianlong team had several client visits in the region. The Hong Kong Public Laboratory Center, which uses Tianlong's GeneRotex 96 Nucleic Acid Extractor, shared positive feedback, noting its reliable performance in assisting with respiratory virus testing for the Hong Kong public. PATHLAB, one of the largest medical testing groups in South-East Asia, has integrated Tianlong's advanced technologies into their testing protocols. Specifically, PATHLAB uses Tianlong's GeneRotex 96 Nucleic Acid Extractor, Libex Nucleic Acid Extractor and Gentier 96 Real-Time PCR System, along with Tianlong's Viral DNA and RNA Extraction Kit for the detection and monitoring of HBV. Both clients reported smooth operations and high satisfaction with the products. Additionally, our team also visited VDL CityU, the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at City University of Hong Kong, where Tianlong’s Libex Nucleic Acid Extractor and Stool DNA & RNA Extraction Kit are currently in use for disease testing in economically significant animals such as pigs and poultry, as well as for the extraction of viral samples in pets. This collaboration underscores Tianlong’s commitment to advancing veterinary diagnostics, ensuring the health and well-being of both domestic and farm animals. Looking ahead, Tianlong is committed to deepening its partnerships in Hong Kong and beyond, striving to deliver innovative solutions that support global public health initiatives. As #monkeypox cases surge in South Africa, the World Health Organization (#WHO) has raised its response level to the highest tier. In the face of this global public health challenge, Tianlong is committed to contributing Chinese expertise and solutions to the fight against the outbreak. Tianlong’s Monkeypox Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kit, based on fluorescent #PCR technology, offers an advanced #one-tube method with a sensitivity of 200 copies/mL. This rapid detection system can deliver results within 40min, providing a robust tool for early screening and precise control of the monkeypox virus. In 2022, our Monkeypox Detection Kit participated in the global #Poxviruses #EQA pilot study organized by #QCMD and successfully achieved a 100% pass rate (as shown in Figure 2). Additionally, the kit has also obtained #CE certification from the EU and #MHRA registration from the UK. Tianlong has been contributing to the prevention and control of monkeypox infections in over 10 countries, including Spain, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Jordan, Indonesia, and Greece.
