They discussed the challenges of disproving perceived risk of emerging market investing, why the typical private equity playbook fails to work in sub-Saharan Africa, and what the continent's pending demographic shift means for investors.   “Africa is entering an outstanding demographical shift, as its 1.4 billion population is expected to increase to 2.5 billion people in less than 25 years. There has not been a demographic shift like that anywhere during the history of mankind. As early pioneers in #impactinvesting and a signatory to the Impact Principles, we look forward to continuing to share and promote best practices in impact management in order to scale the market with integrity.   Meanwhile in Kigali, Rwanda, Vital’s Eyal Avitan attended the Africa CEO Forum, the largest international meeting of the African private sector, which brought together four Prime Ministers, five Heads of State, and over 2,000 CEOs to discuss the role of the private sector in the development of the continent. #ACF2024   We look forward to continuing to be an active participant in the growth markets and impact investing communities.
