Last week, IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava joined the Czech Association for Artificial Intelligence https://asociace.ai, marking a significant step toward fulfilling the mission of #LUMIAIFactory, which aims to contribute to building an AI ecosystem in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿. As the national supercomputing center and a member of the #LUMIAIFactory consortium, IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center plays a crucial role in providing access to advanced computational resources and expert support for the Czech scientific and commercial communities. Membership in the Czech Association for Artificial Intelligence will enable IT4Innovations to collaborate more intensively with other entities active in AI, leverage AI computing and data infrastructure, share expertise, and support educational activities focused on AI development. This synergy will contribute to broader adoption of AI technologies across industries and society, strengthening the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 position as a important player in artificial intelligence in Europe. We look forward to this collaboration! 🤝

#Scientificvisualization has evolved into a complex field, facing challenges such as efficiently rendering large datasets. Today, scientists are concerned not only with visualising data but also with doing so as quickly and accurately as possible without the need to switch between different systems. Milan Jaroš from IT4Innovations, along with experts from NVIDIA and universities in the USA and Germany, has introduced a new concept of data-parallel rendering using the #ANARI API. This approach enables efficient rendering of complex scenes and global effects such as shadows or ambient occlusion while maintaining full compatibility with applications like VTK, ParaView, and VisIT.
