Our Café is an important meeting place right in the heart of our headquarters in Prague. And the pairs of our "baristas" are led here by Milena Kohoutová. She is always smiling, kind and willing, despite the fact that she has been struggling for a long time with the difficult life obstacles that fate puts in her way.   When we found out that Milena needed a special hearing aid, which was financially beyond her means, we immediately announced a company fundraiser among the employees, and the company owner Leopold Bareš doubles the amount collected. We are happy that by providing Milena with the best available equipment, we will contribute to at least a partial improvement in the quality of her life.   We really thank all the employees, we thank Milena for everything she does for us and for which we love her, and above all we wish her good health. #nonprofit #donate #community #fundraising #support #helpingothers #wearesipral

The founder of Sipral, Ing. Leopold Bareš, was named the 2024 Personality of Construction and Architecture. Among the awarded buildings, the administrative building Masaryčka, which Sipral contributed to, was also recognized as the Building of the Year 2024.   On Friday, November 8, 2024, a ceremony took place in the Dvořák Hall of Prague’s Rudolfinum, announcing the awarded projects of the 32nd annual Building of the Year competition. Winners received crystal awards designed for the occasion by designer Rony Plesl and crafted by the Rückl glassworks.   The Building of the Year competition is a prestigious national event in the field of architecture and construction, which annually celebrates the achievements of Czech companies, individuals, and institutions within the Czech Republic and abroad. The winners of this year’s competition were ceremoniously announced during a gala evening broadcast live on television.   Upon receiving the award, Bareš expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him on his journey: “I would like to thank all my colleagues who have walked this sometimes thorny path with me for so long, all the architects, developers, and investors who trusted us and gave us the chance and opportunity to bring their buildings to life, and especially my family, who patiently endured the tough times alongside me. Without all of you, I would not be standing here today.”   The competition is organized by the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction. The gala evening was hosted by actors Martina Preissová and Tomáš Novotný. The changing and dynamic London district of Nine Elms is not only home to the revitalised Battersea complex, or the Embassy Gardens with the new US Embassy, but also to the Nine Elms Point residential development right next to the new tube station of the same name on Wandsworth Road. Last week, together with the client's representatives, we visited the Vandaglass glassworks in Steyr, Austria, where we were interested in the production process of glasses supplied to the La Maison LVMH - ATP project in Paris. Project manager Lucie Svamberkova also participated in the visit on behalf of the Sipral team, who states: "The most interesting part of the process is clearly the application of complex printing on jumbo format glass, 2.8 x 5.85 m."   Everything went according to plan, there was satisfaction on the part of the client's representatives.
