3DELUXE ECOTOURISM PROJECT WINS DESIGN AWARD! We are delighted about this wonderful news! Rethinking the future by embracing the past: Our Kalba Beach project has won Bronze at the 2024 IDA Design Awards in Sustainable Urban Architecture! Built using rammed earth - an eco-friendly alternative to CO2-intensive concrete – this visionary development redefines sustainable coastal architecture.  Located 60 miles east of the Dubai metropolitan area, the Kalba Beach development spans 30,000 square meters floor space and includes many buildings for cafés, restaurants, play and sports facilities and various amenities for beachgoers. All buildings will be constructed using rammed earth or timber hybrid method, the walkways and promenade will be wooden decking and shading structures will be made from natural rope systems. Photovoltaic modules will be installed on the rooftops, and extensive greenery will be planted between the buildings, enhancing biodiversity and improving the microclimate. 3DELUXE architecture is delighted, as a German architecture firm, to contribute to sustainable tourism with this advanced and beautiful project in Sharjah, in the immediate vicinity of the globalized metropolis of Dubai. Wir freuen uns, dass unsere Einreichung des Bauprojektes Gemeinschaftliches Wohnen Bierstadt Nord erfolgreich war und als vorbildliches Projekt in das Programm des „World Design Capital Frankfurt Rhein Main 2026“ aufgenommen wurde! In Wiesbaden entsteht zurzeit unter Beteiligung von 3DELUXE architecture  ein attraktives Wohnbauprojekt, das zentrale Aspekte fortschrittlicher und menschenfreundlicher Stadtentwicklung vereint. LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE AND SHARE IT WITH OTHERS! Die fünf Gebäude mit 38 Wohneinheiten sind so angelegt, dass sie zum Gemeinschaftlichen Wohnen geeignet sind. Diese neue, immer beliebter werdende Wohnform fördert das Mehrgenerationen-Wohnen und das soziale Miteinander in Hausgemeinschaften und im Quartier. Das Gebäudeensemble schafft sehr attraktiven, aber gleichzeitig auch bezahlbaren Wohnraum, wird in CO2-reduzierter Bauweise in Holzhybridkonstruktion erstellt, erhält großflächige Installation von Photovoltaik-Modulen und bietet viel naturnahen Außenraum, der zahlreiche gemeinschaftliche Aktivitäten fördert. ROBBIE WILLIAMS / 3DELUXE / TUI CRUISES!   We are thrilled to announce that superstar Robbie Williams is the official ambassador for TUI Cruises' groundbreaking new ship Mein Schiff Relax! For 3DELUXE architecture this milestone represents the results of over four years of dedicated design and planning by the 3DELUXE design team in close collaboration with expert partners from around the globe. The outcome is the stunning and visionary first vessel of the new Intuition Class, a serene and inspiring haven designed for modern, health-conscious and open-minded travelers—just like Robbie Williams himself.   3DELUXE architecture was responsible for the entire exterior design and crafted a captivating multi-level open deck landscape featuring luxurious pools, iconic shaded areas, multiple bars and restaurants and an exclusive suite deck. Inside the ship, the 3DELUXE designers took charge of an Asian fusion restaurant by acclaimed chef Tim Raue, vibrant urban street-art-inspired bars, a cutting-edge sports court and a high-end gym—all meticulously designed to elevate the travel experience. Currently under construction at the FINCANTIERI shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, the bio-fuel ready Mein Schiff Relax is set to embark on its maiden voyage in spring 2025. A spectacular christening event will take place in Malaga, April 9th with an exclusive Robbie Williams open air concert for 15000 christening guests.  Keep you updated!! SMART MATERIALS FOR INNOVATIVE SPACES! Angela Belling, 3deluxe's Art Director and Senior Interior Designer, had the pleasure of delivering an inspiring presentation to an expert audience at Material Bank® in Stuttgart. Her talk focused on the use of smart and sustainable materials, highlighting the recently completed Mondi Customer Experience Center by 3DELUXE architecture as a prime example. Through this project, Angela provided valuable insights into the development of a complex interior design and emphasized how the thoughtful selection of materials plays a pivotal role in a project's success. She underscored the importance of attention to detail, extensive knowledge of material properties, and a keen sense of their impact on the overall design. In a constantly evolving materials market, institutions like Material Bank® are invaluable, making it easier to find the perfect materials while seamlessly connecting manufacturers and designers. Following the presentation, attendees participated in a creative collage workshop, engaged in a lively discussion, and enjoyed a convivial evening over delicious food and networking. WIESBADEN GOES WORLD DESIGN CAPITAL 2026! 3DELUXE architecture hat sieben Projekte für die Stadt Wiesbaden für den Open Call des World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 fristgerecht eingereicht!   Alle von 3DELUXE konzipierten Projekte unterstreichen die Innovationskraft und Zukunftsfähigkeit der Stadt Wiesbaden und der Region Rhein Main. Die im letzten Jahr erfolgte Ernennung der Rhein-Main Region zum World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 bietet die einzigartige Gelegenheit, die Region global als Vorreiter im Bereich Design und Innovation zu präsentieren und langfristige, positive Impulse für Wirtschaft, Gesellschaft und Kultur zu setzen. Mit dem Leitthema des WDC 2026  "Design for Democracy. Atmospheres for a better life" soll gezeigt werden, wie Design und Architektur dazu beitragen können, nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung voranzutreiben, soziale Gerechtigkeit und Partizipation zu fördern, Technologische Innovation zu inspirieren und gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt zu stärken. The Butterfly Pavilion, masterfully designed by 3DELUXE architecture for Noor Island Park in Sharjah, stands as an architectural marvel, marrying innovative biophilic design with urban rejuvenation. This organically shaped structure was clad in star-shaped metal blossoms, creating a dazzling play of light and shadow inside its glass walls, reminiscent of a butterfly's cocoon. The pavilion's roof, a complex network of steel and aluminum, was supported by tree-like columns and designed to mimic the natural geometry of butterfly wings, covering an expansive area of 800 square meters. As sunlight filtered through, the interior was transformed into a dynamic display of patterns, enhancing the tropical rainforest habitat for 500 exotic butterflies and providing a mesmerizing backdrop for the café and souvenir shop nestled within. #shadowplay #pavilionpost #architecture Link to Pavilion Post 149: https://lnkd.in/ePrxJTxH

INNOVATION HUB FOR SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING NOW OPEN! 3DELUXE architecture has proudly designed an innovative space for Mondi Group, a global leader in the packaging industry. Yesterday, the grand opening was celebrated with a joyful event in the lofty spaces of the brand new 2300 m2 building, located in Steinfeld, Germany. The new "FlexStudios Inspire" is a cutting-edge hub for collaboration and research, featuring interactive co-creative zones, educational spaces, workshops, offices, communicative lounge areas, an open show kitchen and inviting conference rooms. These experiential studios have been created to allow Mondi’s customers to participate actively in the innovation process and make use of its expertise and state-of-the-art technology to help shape the future of sustainable packaging and circular economy. 3DELUXE architecture is delighted to have had the opportunity to design the Mondi Group spaces with such creativity and attention to detail!
