Last week, the German event industry gathered at the LEaT con in Hamburg! Our COO, Markus Jahnel, sums up this year's convention:  "The feedback from the industry is great: Where do we stand and where should we be heading? We have met many interesting people, the quality of the visitors is incredibly high and the LEatcon is becoming more national!" We were represented at AVcon for the first time with our market segment Adam Hall Integrated Systems, in order to present the product portfolio of our LD Systems and Cameo Light brands for Commercial Audio & Lighting Solutions. The AVcon, which took place for the first time as part of LeaT con 2024, offered exhibition space, networking and a conference programme for the installation industry. Our DACH Integrated Systems team attended the AVard 2024 on the last evening of the show to celebrate the best projects, technologies and industry personalities with the DACH AV industry. Special congratulations go to Michael Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), who was honoured as ‘The industry member of the year 2024’ at the event! The "AVard", the German-language ProAV award, shines a spotlight on the drivers of the AV industry and provides a platform for excellent networking. Just in time for the end of summer, autumn has arrived at our German headquarters! 🍁🍂 There are exactly four weeks between the two photos. In September, the last rays of summer sunshine were still shining brightly on our Experience Centre, now the bright autumn colours have taken over nature and are making the surroundings glow. Growth means transformation – this is why the offices and workspaces of our R&D and product management departments have been redesigned and furnished with new, ergonomic furniture in recent weeks and months. 🎨 In the spirit of environmental awareness, the discarded tables and chairs have found a new, meaningful use, and at the same time we are supporting the next generation! 💚🌍🤝 Last Friday, we were proud to hand over the furniture to the Metallfachschule Oberursel, where it will be used in the workshops and training rooms for the benefit of future professionals. 🛠️👨🏫 With this donation, we are not only conserving resources, but also promoting the training of young talents in our region. 💡 #AdamHallGroup #Growth #Transformation #Sustainability #Donation

"Theory and practice: one illuminates the other." – Jean Cocteau 💡 To shed light on theory through practice, fifteen master students from the Gesellschaft zur Förderung technischen Nachwuchses Darmstadt (Society for the Promotion of Young Technical Talents) at the Hochschule Darmstadt, Hesse, specialising in lighting, sound and stage, were guests at our Experience Center yesterday. In the morning, our colleagues Tilo Pietschmann, Rock'n'Roll Library & Music Curator and Herbert Bernstädt, Senior Research & Development Engineer Light Technology, gave insights into our Experience Center and the daily work of our Research and Development department. In the afternoon, the students got the unique chance to experience our Surround Experience, our light show. Various colleagues from the R&D, Corporate Communications, Sustainability Management, Customer Service and Logistics departments presented their work in a series of interactive lectures through practical examples and tours through the departments, from which the students were hopefully provided with many exciting insights for their own work. 🧠 Thanks for your visit - we hope you all had a great day at our German Headquarters! 🙌 #AdamHallGroup #HochschuleDarmstadt #CompanyVisit

In mid-September, our Director IT, Alexander Sonndag, and Teamlead ICT Infrastructure & System Administration, Björn Köckert, visited the Digital X exhibition in Cologne. Under the motto ‘Innovation, Inspiration, Impact’, the event offered valuable insights into the latest trends and developments in the field of IT security. 🔐 Our two colleagues were impressed by the innovative approaches and solutions presented to strengthen the security of our digital infrastructure. These insights will help our IT department to further optimise our company's IT security strategies and to protect our systems even better. In addition to the technical topics, the two of them took away new approaches for effective leadership and teamwork from inspiring leadership sessions. 💡🤹♀️ Alexander and Björn's conclusion after attending Digital X 2024: "We look forward to putting our new knowledge into practice and taking our IT security to the next level step by step. World Cleanup Day 2024 – We did it again! 🌍🚮 Last Friday, around 20 colleagues swapped their computers and office chairs for gloves, buckets and tongs after work and collected rubbish around our German headquartersas part of the international day of action. 🧤🗑 Whether in the bushes, meadows and paths around the Adam Hall Group site or in the neighbouring city park, a lot of waste was collected again this year. 🚬🧃🍟🛍 The WCUD movement is committed to a clean environment and calls for a worldwide clean-up every September.
