Liebe AK Advisory by AKB Community, wir sind Julius Leistner und Lennart Martin Reichelt und übernehmen in den kommenden zwei Semestern die Leitung von AK Advisory, als Nachfolger von Artinian Weissensel und Torben Grünebast. Gemeinsam wollen wir den Ausbau der ersten studentischen M&A-Beratung im DACH-Raum fortführen und einer ausgewählten Anzahl von 10-15 Erstsemster-Studenten den M&A-Bereich näherbringen. Dabei wird das neue Team neben der Arbeit auf Live-Deals mit unseren Partnern, diverse Trainingsprogramme durchlaufen, um sich dadurch ein noch umfassenderes Wissen anzueignen. Auch freuen wir uns, bestehende, exklusive Workshop-Partnerschaften weiterzuführen und auch zukünftig wieder lehrreiche Workshops und anschließende Networking-Events zu veranstalten. IOM Advisory is a financial advisory firm with expertise in M&A as well as fundraising. They guide companies through all stages of their lifecycles: from initial financing to strategic corporate acquisitions to a potential divestiture process.  Furthermore, IOM Advisory serves as the German representative of Global M&A Partners, a leading network of independent M&A advisory firms covering over 30 countries with 1,800 completed transactions and total transaction value of EUR 60 billion since 2010. As the first student-led M&A consultancy in the DACH region, our partnerships enable students to work directly on live M&A transactions, providing them with practical skills in investment banking early in their careers to prepare them for future internships. We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming projects and looking forward to the partnership!

Next week, the AK Advisory team will come together with Deloitte in an exclusive workshop on the topic of the Buyers' Universe and related challenges.  The team will work on a case study to prepare them for the upcoming project work in the next semester.  We are looking forward to this event and would like to thank Deloitte for this opportunity! 💙
