It introduces a fiber-coupled athermalized beam shaper from asphericon that maintains beam homogeneity over a wide temperature range, enabling enhanced performance for field-deployed atomic inertial sensors. 📜 Poster 2: Freeform Optics Enabling High Dynamic Scanning for Line Structuring of Large Substrates Monday, Oct 21st, 3.30 - 5.00 pm In this poster, Ulrike Fuchs will showcase innovations in ultrashort pulsed lasers and scanning systems, particularly for large substrates and plastic processing. Using Zwobbel® technology by ROBUST AO GmbH and freeform optics from asphericon developed in the UKP2micron - UKPino project, this approach enables faster and more efficient material processing, especially for roll-2-roll applications. 🚴♀️ STADTRADELN 2024: Jena sets new benchmarks in sustainable mobility! This year, we broke records with over 4,000 participants and a remarkable total of more than 700,000 kilometers cycled! Schools were leading the way, with one secondary school (Angergymnasium Jena) topping the leaderboard by logging an impressive 55,000 km. The asphericon team was also actively involved, surpassing 8,000 km and securing a spot in the Top 10 of all participating teams! 💪 These achievements not only highlight the growing importance of cycling in Jena but also showcase the city’s strong commitment to promoting eco-friendly transportation. The second week of this year's STADTRADELN in Jena is in the books – time to reflect on our progress. 🚴♂️  The results speak for themselves: 💚 3,717 active cyclists,  💚 201 teams and  💚 over 441,000 kilometers pedaled. That’s 73 tons of CO2 emissions avoided and all the numbers are higher than last year’s. Wow! A big thank you to all the cyclists. Let's keep it going for week three. We're also proud to announce that our asphericon cycling team has covered more than 5,500 kilometers, currently placing us in 19th position overall.
