BEMO PROJECT NEWS 🛫 The Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez in Lima, Peru, is getting a new terminal – and BEMO is playing a central role in this. In order to equip the country's most important airport for the increasing number of passengers, 1.5 billion dollars will be invested as part of a comprehensive expansion program. New Reference: Blending Architecture with Nature 🍷🍇 The La Piemontina winery in Ghemme, Italy, showcases how thoughtful design can seamlessly blend architecture with the surrounding landscape. Designed by Dr. Arch. Attilio Barone, the curved standing seam metal roof elegantly spans over the wine cellar, sales area, and event spaces, creating an inviting atmosphere for tastings, art, and cultural events. Crafted from aluminum in a custom red-brown shade, the roof harmonizes beautifully with the vineyard scenery. To ensure maximum safety and achieve a flawless appearance, the standing seam profiles were roll-formed on site and cover around 1,500 m² without cross laps (and therefore penetrations). #BEMOroof #BEMOitaly #Architecture #Archilovers

The National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, designed by Mecanoo, was realised with a BEMO roof. BEMO was involved from an early stage, making the design-intent of the architect feasable with its unique BEMO-MONRO free-form compentence. 〰️ Being built in a typhoon hot-spot-area, the structural resistance requirements of the metal cladding was challenging as well as the main structure of the building. 🌪️ Tolerance adjustments over the 4 layers in the 800mm roof-build-up were engineered by BEMO based on 3D-scans of the as-built-structure. It symbolizes the evolving vision for the city of Kaohsiung and Taiwan. The center’s mission is to unite local and global talent through arts and culture. This impressive single building covers a surface area of 141,000 sqm and is situated in a 470,000 sqm subtropical park. It is the world’s largest performing arts center under one roof and Taiwan’s most significant cultural investment in a generation. “Impressive, instantly-jaw dropping and everything you want as a fan.” Some of the outstanding initial reviews of the new Everton FC stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, which hosted its first test match yesterday, are hitting the media. As Jon-Scott Kohli, Architect Director at BDP Pattern, explains: "Attending the first-ever match at Everton’s new stadium was an incredible milestone, both professionally and personally. Seeing it come alive for the first time was overwhelming. After years as a digital model and then a construction site, the stadium has finally become what it was designed to be – a home for the Everton family. Watching supporters gather in the plazas and concourses, experiencing the details we carefully developed, and seeing the building in action was a proud and exhilarating moment. From the warm glow of the handmade bricks to the steep rake of the South Stand, every element has been crafted to create an inclusive, intimate, and world-class footballing experience. This project is a testament to the vision of the Club and the dedication of hundreds of professionals and builders who have brought it to life. I have no doubt that the stadium will soon be recognised as one of the great stadiums in world football.” The final score on the night was Everton U18s 1-2 Wigan U18s. 16-year-old Ray Robert was the first Everton player to score in the Club's new home. This construction of this ground-breaking stadium has been a collaboration of expert teams working together across various stages of its design and delivery. As it comes into full use next season, the venue, designed by MEIS Architects and BDP Pattern, will attract more than 1.4 million visitors annually, drawing fans and tourists alike to this scenic riverside location. Fans will enjoy breath taking views of the River Mersey, the Wirral, and the Irish Sea from the elevated terraces. This is a new world-class home for Everton and for us it has been a project that goes far beyond football, leaving a lasting legacy for the club and the city of Liverpool.
