What a pleasure it was to participate in the WarehouseLAB: Logistics 4.0 "Automation and Optimization of Logistics Processes" workshops organised by 4Content. Our colleague, Bartosz Kuźniak, represented BEUMER Group in a first class group of industry experts sharing insights on warehouse automation with Polish logistics professionals. The delegates got a first-hand impression of our BG Pouch System, an order fulfilment buffer and sorting and sequencing solution designed to optimise efficiency in warehouse operations. Less manual handling and an optimised system footprint are among the features of this system that supports the handling of a diverse range of items up to 7 kg with an actual system capacity of 10,000 packages per hour. At BEUMER Group, we're committed to driving innovation and improving the flow of goods and we are excited about the possibilities the BG Pouch System brings to enhancing today's warehouse efficiency. At BEUMER Group, we're passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators. As part of the Danish Science Day initiative to raise awareness of science education, we welcomed a high school class to our facilities yesterday. The students had the opportunity to "build" their own airport baggage handling systems using very simple yet complex instructions — mirroring real-world engineering challenges. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we hope we've ignited a spark that will lead them to explore the exciting possibilities of a career in science. Maybe even with us at BEUMER Group. As the Olympic flame is extinguished and the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in Paris come to a close, we're honoured to have played a role in supporting Groupe ADP and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport before and during this incredible event. As Europe’s third busiest airport celebrates its 50th anniversary, it welcomed 64,000 athletes and delegates, and our CrisBag Baggage Handling System helped to process 114,000 bags for the athletes, 47,000 out-of-gauge bags containing large sports equipment, and 4,000 bicycles. During the event, our commitment included the full mobilization of on-site maintenance teams, assistance from remote hotline engineers, and complete support from our Global Monitoring Center. Utilizing machine learning and advanced models, we monitor the performance of the critical IT infrastructure and software 24/7, detecting any anomalies that could impact system availability. Once again, it was time for BEUMER Group to participate in the annual DHL 5x5 km Relay, a much-anticipated event in Aarhus, Denmark. With 22 running teams and 5 walking teams, our colleagues came together for an event that is more than just a race — it’s a chance to connect, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate shared achievements in a fun and relaxed setting. The DHL relay highlights the importance of camaraderie and having fun together while contributing to a good cause.
