Thank you for the fantastic first Quantum Effects 2023 & looking forward for the second edition in 2024! 💪 Thank you Messe Stuttgart for having us as your #hosting #partner. We enjoyed the great #cooperation and bringing this unique event for #quantum technolgies together to life. ❣ For us it was also a clear highlight to exhibit our cell phone sized #prototype for the first time. At our booth, visitors had the opportunity to experience this #magneticfield #quantum #sensor #prototype, as well as our two use case exhibits. 🚗 The interactive exhibit for #battery management systems of #vehicles demonstrated how quantum sensors can be used in the #future to precisely measure the magnetic field induced by the #electric current and thus determine the exact charge level of the battery. The result would be more reliable and precise determination of the remaining range, allowing trips to be planned better. ✈ With our second exhibit we not only showcased magnetic field #navigation, but also took the opportunity to announce our #partnership with Airbus Aircraft. Together with #Airbus we work to assess the possibility of enhancing current aircraft navigation systems enabling #safe #flight operations today. The objective is to further add dissimilar navigation information in civil aviation by utilizing quantum sensor #technology for the acquisition of precise positioning data. 👏 Thank you as well to all the top-class speakers for their insightful speeches and panel discussions, in which our CEO, Katrin Kobe, our CCO, Dr. Andrea Bräuning, and our CTO, Frederik Schaal, participated. 🙌 We are more than excited to announce that our #hosting #partnership will continue in 2024! 🚀 Now, enjoy our event video from this year and stay tuned for Quantum Effects 2024! #BoschQuantumSensing #MesseStuttgart #QuantumEffects #Quantum

We’ve had an amazing two days at @Quantum Effects in Stuttgart. We'd like to express our gratitude to everyone who visited us at the show, including amongst many others: Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann as well as Professor Tadashi Sakai and Susumu Yasuda from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Our CEO, Katrin Kobe, CCO, Dr. Andrea Bräuning, and CTO, Frederik Schaal, took part in insightful panel discussions, alongside Dr. Janina Beilner from Siemens, Alberto Comin from Airbus, Stefan Bogdanovic from SandboxAQ, and Daniel Twitchen from Element Six. Together, they emphasized the significant potential of quantum sensing and the importance of a thriving European ecosystem for this transformative technology. Stay tuned for more updates from us. We'll be sharing a comprehensive event summary soon. Thank you for being part of our experience! #quantumcomputing #quantumsensing #stuttgart #quantum-effects #qe

✈ We’re teaming up with Airbus Aircraft to assess the possibility of enhancing current aircraft #navigation systems. Our goal? Improve safety flight operations in civil aviation using quantum sensor technology for precise positioning data. Such quantum sensors can measure the earth's unique magnetic field. As a result, they provide a uniquely stable signal with the ability to also operate independently of positioning signals from satellites. Airbus and Bosch consider the use of quantum sensor technology a highly innovative solution to support all other navigation systems onboard an aircraft and has the potential to further increase flight safety by providing dissimilar data. Through the partnership, we are combining Airbus' expertise in the field of aircraft development and airborne navigation systems with Bosch's in-depth know-how in quantum sensor technology. Bringing together these two experts creates enormous potential to create new navigation solutions. Thanks to our colleagues at Airbus for the excellent cooperation so far. We look forward to the results of this partnership. Stay tuned for updates! ✈ Jasper Simon Krauser, Volker Ziegler, Isabell Gradert, Christian Grim, Katrin Kobe, Frederik Schaal, Dr. Andrea Bräuning, Daniel Zimmermann, Michael Bretzel, Verena Schendel #quantumcomputing #navigation #quantumsensing #GPS #GNSS #aviation #airnav

"𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹: 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻" Our current quantum sensor prototype is about the size of a cell phone. It is the smallest currently available with this level of measurement accuracy. We plan to work on specific applications with pilot customers in the medical and mobility sectors over the next two years. BCI (brain computer interface) remains our long-term strategic target market. Three applications in which quantum sensors could be used in the future include: 1. Robust navigation in the air, on the road, as well as on and under water using the Earth's magnetic field. 2. Electromobility, to precisely determine the exact charge level of a battery. 3. Medicine, where magnetocardiographs (MCGs) could measure the heart's natural magnetic field, enable measurements over a longer period of time and, as a result, provide far more data than today’s electrocardiographs (ECGs). Dr. Stefan Hartung, chairman of the Bosch board of management, states in today’s press release: “We want to take a leading position in quantum sensors for medicine and mobility.” Visit us at Quantum Effects, booth 2B31, next week in Stuttgart (10th and 11th October) – where we will have our cell phone sized prototype with us! 🚀🚀 Read more in the press release: https://lnkd.in/e48Dg5hP
