8 Company Culture Killers Credits to Victoria Repa, follow her for more valuable content. ------ Here's the original post: 88% of people believe that a strong company culture is key to business success. But just one mistake can destroy it all. Here are 8 company culture killers that often drain teams: 1/ “We’re a Family” Mentality: ↳ A convenient excuse to blur boundaries and push employees too hard. 2/ Micromanagement: ↳ Constantly watching every detail kills creativity and independence. 3/ Too Many Managers, Too Few Doers: ↳ More talk, less action—nothing gets done. 4/ Ignoring Employee Feedback: ↳ When opinions go unheard, engagement drops. 5/ Decisions Behind Closed Doors: ↳ A lack of transparency erodes trust and loyalty. 6/ Overloading Top Performers: ↳ Burning out your best employees instead of promoting them. 7/ No Work-Life Balance: ↳ Expecting 24/7 availability leads to burnout. 8/ Silent Meetings: ↳ When only a few voices dominate, fresh ideas get lost. Recognizing these culture killers is just the first step. To truly cultivate a thriving workplace, leaders must actively work to eliminate these toxic elements. When we invest in our culture, we lay the groundwork for success. ------- Follow Business Infographics to learn from the best visuals.

The Strategy Pyramid Credits to Igor Buinevici, follow him for more practical content. ------ Here's the original post: 90% of the companies fail to execute their strategy: Want to know how the remaining 10% manage to do it? I want to introduce an extremely useful concept: The Strategy Pyramid. This is the concept shared by Wendy McGuiness (2011). It summarizes the 9 key pillars of successful strategy and its execution, divided into 3 main categories: purpose, strategy and execution. A) Purpose: 1. Mission: Defines the fundamental purpose or reason for the existence of the corporation, answering questions like "Why do we exist?" and "What is our core reason for being in business?" 2. Values: Sets out the guiding principles and beliefs that shape the corporate culture and decision-making processes, reflecting the organization's ethical standards and desired behaviors. 3. Vision: Paints a clear picture of the desired future state of the company, providing direction and inspiration by answering the question "Where do we want to be in the future?" B) Strategy: 4. Strategic Intent: Outlines the overarching goals and objectives of the organization, defining the desired outcomes and the path to achieve them. 5. Drivers: Identifies the key factors or strategic priorities that will drive the company's success, such as market expansion, product innovation, cost leadership, or customer experience. 6. Enablers: Represents the resources, capabilities, and infrastructure needed to execute the strategy effectively, including technology, human capital, financial resources, etc. C) Execution: 7. Targets and Initiatives: Sets specific, measurable targets and initiatives aligned with the strategic objectives, providing actionable steps to move the organization forward. 8. Performance Indicators: Establishes metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress toward goals and assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. 9. Strategy Map: Communicates the corporate strategy in a clear manner and ensures alignment across the organization. These categories provide a framework for corporate leaders to: 1) Articulate the purpose of the organization, 2) Develop a clear strategy to achieve its goals, 3) Execute it effectively Make sure you address all the points: As they are equally important. ------- Follow Business Infographics to learn from the best visuals.

The Stress Spectrum Credits to Matty Piazzi, follow him for more useful content. ------ Here's the original post: How to deal with stress at work? Today, Saad asks: — “What should I do when work stress starts messing with my personal life?” — Welcome to Episode 186 of AskMatty! Here’s my answer, Saad: — Here’s a great approach to dealing with stress: →  Behavioral Activation It helps you do things that lift your spirit. Let’s see how to give it a try. 1.  First, take a moment to reflect. Ask yourself: →  How is work stress affecting my personal life? →  Am I feeling irritable? →  Am I too tired to hang out with friends? Let’s say you’re missing out on hobbies you love. Write down what’s bothering you. For example: →  “I’m so stressed about deadlines that I haven’t hung out with my friends in weeks” Just be aware of how stress is actually affecting your personal life. 2.  Now, jot down activities that you enjoy. Or activities you find relaxing. These can be things like: →  Baking a new recipe →  Going for a walk in the park → Having a coffee date with a friend 3.  Now, choose one activity from your list. How? By asking yourself: →  Which one would I like to try this week? Humble advice: →  Keep it simple and manageable Especially if you’re feeling really stressed. You don’t wanna add more stress by overthinking the decision :) For example, let’s say your choice is: →  “I’ll go for a 30-minute walk in the park after work on Wednesday” 4.  Alright, now what? Simple — put this activity on your calendar. Treat it like an important meeting with a client! Block off the time and commit to it. It’s about respecting ourselves. 5.  After you do the activity, take a moment. Try to check in with how you feel. Ask yourself: →  Did the walk help clear your mind? Notice any positive changes in your mood. Why? Because it helps you find motivation for your next walk. That’s it. Now you just need to add more activities to your week. Without stressing out, of course :) As we now know, the goal here is: →  To engage in things that make you happy and help you recharge There is no stress management without rest and recharge. — Alright! Thanks for your question, Saad. Question of the day: →  Mountain walk or beach walk? Which do you like best? Let me know in the comments :) “Let’s build a world where everyone belongs through the power of wellbeing!” – Matty ------- Follow Business Infographics to learn from the best visuals.

Value Chain Analysis Credits to Igor Buinevici, follow him for more impactful content. ------ Here's the original post: This business analysis tool can save you millions: It is simple yet extremely efficient. I am talking about the Value Chain Analysis. It is a strategic tool that examines the activities a company performs to create and deliver a product or service. By analyzing these activities, a company can identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and competitive advantage. The key components of Value Chain Analysis are: 1. Primary Activities: These are the core activities directly involved in transforming inputs into outputs and delivering the product or service to customers. Examples include operations, logistics, marketing, and service. 2. Support Activities: These activities support the primary activities and each other. They include firm infrastructure, human resource management, technology development, procurement and other similar areas. To conduct Value Chain Analysis: 1. Identify primary and support activities. 2. Analyze cost and benefit of each activity. 3. Examine how improvements in one area can impact others. 4. Compare the company's activities to industry best practices. 5. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and competitive advantage. The key is to boost your margins by improving either the revenue or cost side of the business. Take advantage of the Value Chain Analysis: Make sure your margins are maximized! ------- Follow Business Infographics to learn from the best visuals.
