A special thank you to Rouven Dresselhaus for his invaluable contributions as a Founding Partner of Cavalry Ventures. With the completion of the fundraising phase for Cavalry Fund III, Rouven will be stepping down as General Partner on the best of terms to focus on his family and, in due time, pursue new challenges. We, the remaining five co-founding partners, wish him nothing but success and extend our deepest gratitude for the years of collaboration. Rouven played a key role in bringing together the founding partner team, laying the foundation for what Cavalry Ventures has become. He also conceptualized and co-built the LP/Supporter platform, which became a cornerstone of Cavalry’s unique value proposition. Additionally, he sourced and closed successful investments like e.g. Usercentrics and Spread.ai, while providing ongoing support to portfolio companies such as Forto and Planetly – all of which created outstanding shareholder value. Rouven will remain closely connected to Cavalry Ventures, continuing to support and invest in the company, as Cavalry will also support him in his future endeavors. We wish him every success in his next chapter! 🤠 Stefan Walter Marcel Hollerbach Markus Fuhrmann Dominik Matyka 🤠 Claude Ritter

🤝 More than a million people work in field sales in Germany, creating invaluable customer relationships for companies. Sales representatives typically engage in up to eight conversations daily. However, one of the most crucial yet time-consuming tasks – documentation – often gets overlooked. This is where our portfolio company VoiceLine steps in 🤠 🗣️ The Munich-based startup has developed a solution enabling sales reps to quickly record customer interactions using voice input. With a personalised voice AI, these recorded notes are seamlessly converted into actionable steps within the CRM, reducing follow-up time by an impressive 80%. 🙌 We've been supporting VoiceLine since mid-2021, and the startup has successfully impressed numerous traditional companies, helping them enhance their sales teams with voice AI technology. Congratulations to Nicolas, Sebastian, and the entire team on securing a successful seed round of EUR 2.4 million! 🎉 cc: Won Yi, Marcel Hollerbach, Rouven Dresselhaus, 🤠 Claude Ritter, 🤠 Stefan Walter, co-investor SCALEHOUSE Capital, co-investor Venture Stars. #voicetech #voice #voiceAI #AI #fieldsales #salestech #sales

📰 Link in den Kommentaren ⬇️ cc: Dr. Larissa Leitner, Lorenz Rogall, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Cavalry Ventures

🧑🍳 These days, the hospitality industry needs efficiency-enhancing tools more than ever. With ongoing challenges like labour shortages and rising food and energy prices, it's a tough environment. Since early 2021, we've seen our belief in Nory's solutions pay off. Today, we're thrilled to welcome even more supporters to Nory's mission. Huge congratulations on the Series A, Conor Sheridan, and the entire team! 🤠 🎉 🥡 Nory's AI works in real-time, acting as an AI-venue manager to help frontline workers run their venues smoothly and profitably. It pulls together all key operational data into one central source. Nory’s technology predicts hourly venue demand with 95% accuracy, using historical data and AI algorithms. These algorithms factor in seasonal trends and hyper-local data on weather and events to help restaurants and cafés with staffing. Plus, it matches these predictions with other workflows like stock management to cut costs and reduce waste. 🌶️ Nory's track record is something to behold: working with Buns From Home, Jamie Oliver Group, and Roasting Plant Coffee across the UK, Europe, and the US, they've shown a nearly 20% cost reduction and a consistent EBITDA increase of an astonishing 50%. In 2023, Nory boosted its own revenue by 400% – thanks to their advanced product and meticulous execution. Again, congratulations, team Nory! We’re thrilled to be part of this amazing journey – here’s to cooking up even more success together! 🙌 cc: Björn Loose, 🤠 Rouven Dresselhaus, 🤠 Claude Ritter, 🤠 Stefan Walter, Luca Bocchio, Cecilia Wang, Luis Garay, Jamie Tomalin, Annelie Ajami #hospitality #hospitalityOS #hospitalitymanagement

⚡ The most significant potential for driving the energy transition resides within the industrial sector. Leveraging this potential is the mission of Companion.energy, which aids its clients in controlling and managing their energy needs. We proudly welcome Companion.energy as our newest portfolio company 🤠 🎉 🌬️🌞 As renewable energy integration rises, so do the fluctuations in energy prices, especially for industrial companies. Concurrently, increased sustainability awareness and stricter regulations are prompting more companies to shift from fossil fuels to electrical alternatives. The solution lies in proactive energy management. 📊 Companion.energy has developed a platform that enables industrial companies to manage their energy requirements in real-time. This machine learning-based platform considers a company's current energy contracts, integrates operational data, and forecasts energy needs and costs for the coming hours and days. This allows industrial companies to respond flexibly to energy price fluctuations and reduce their emissions. When industry expertise, technical acumen, and a vision for a better future converge, the most effective products emerge. This is what we see with Companion.energy. We're thrilled to be part of this journey, driving towards a brighter, greener future with Thomas Vyncke, Jonas Verstraeten and Companion.energy! 🙌 📺 Find out more about the company and the product in our flash interview with Thomas: https://lnkd.in/dbPFpT6X cc: Björn Loose, Fabian Krautwurst, Alexander Langguth, Jonas Hornung, Pieterjan Bouten, 🤠 Rouven Dresselhaus, 🤠 Claude Ritter, 🤠 Stefan Walter #energy #industrialenergymanagement #energymanagement

🏭 As the production demands grow, the unfortunate shortage of employees poses a challenge. However, fret not! Our latest portfolio addition, Deltia, steps in to address this issue by seamlessly combining computer vision and AI, providing essential support to alleviate the strain on existing factory workforces. 🤠🙌 🧑🏭 While global production facilities pivot back to local hubs, the scarcity of skilled labour becomes glaringly evident in Europe and the USA. A deficit of personnel on production lines, a lack of recruits, and insufficient experienced staff to train junior employees compound the issue. Deltia.ai offers comprehensive solutions for all three challenges. 🎥 Utilising camera sensors to digitise manual processes, Deltia.ai's sophisticated algorithm evaluates and optimises workflows, enabling production facilities to boost productivity by 10-30%. The anonymised video snippets generated serve a dual purpose—streamlining training for junior staff and reducing training time by an impressive 20-50%. 💡 The founding team's expertise speaks volumes. Maximilian Fischer, having modernised 40 factories globally with his former startup, and Dr. Silviu Homoceanu, a Ph.D. holder in machine learning and formerly responsible for the software unit for autonomous driving at Volkswagen, bring invaluable experience to Deltia.ai. 💪 While recognising the irreplaceable nature of human expertise, Deltia.ai positions AI as a valuable assistant, collaboratively enhancing the workforce. We are confident that this synergy between human expertise and AI innovation lays the groundwork for a future where productivity and excellence reach unparalleled heights. Congratulations on the successful funding round! Here's to Max and Silviu, paving the way for the fourth industrial revolution! 🎉 📺 Learn more about Deltia.ai's computer vision product and the founders' visionary plans in our new blogpost: https://lnkd.in/dzj4YDjz 🙌 🤠 Claude Ritter, Fabian Krautwurst, cc: 🤠 Rouven Dresselhaus, 🤠 Stefan Walter, Martin Janicki, Björn Loose, Markus Fuhrmann, Marcel Hollerbach, Dominik Matyka, Rasmus Rothe #deltia #manufacturing #computervision #processanalysis #ai #artificialintelligence #seed
