We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of SkyBee-1, our first thermal infrared monitoring satellite, onboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. This marks a major milestone in constellr’s mission to transform climate resilience, sustainable resource management, and global food security through high-resolution thermal intelligence. SkyBee-1 will provide unprecedented insights into Earth’s surface temperatures, delivering precise, real-time data for agriculture, urban and infrastructure monitoring. This is the first step toward building our HiVE satellite constellation, paving the way for a new era in Earth observation. #satellitelaunch #thermalintelligence

We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of our first satellite, #SkyBee1 via the SpaceX Transporter 12 F9 rocket yesterday. 🚀 Our operations team quickly established communication with our thermal infrared satellite and we can confirm SkyBee-1 is so far, so healthy; power positive and thermally stable.  𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭. 𝐀. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭. We are immensely proud of the entire team and their ongoing efforts to bring first of a kind thermal data from space to service critical applications on earth. Next step: SpaceX Transporter-12 launch! 🛰️🚀 Upon its launch this month, SkyBee-1 will kick off constellr's HiVE constellation. By measuring land surface temperature, HiVE will help farmers: — Prevent crop loss by detecting heat stress in plants early on. — Save megatons of water and CO2 used on irrigation. — Generate billions of Euros in gross benefits. We are proud that our satellite buses can support constellr's constellation and help achieve these sustainability goals along with ESA.
